1. JEE Main admit card
The news to command maximum attention of all in the world of education is about hallticket release for JEE Main 2021 exam.

As per the information bulletin of JEE Mains 2021, halltickets would be released for download during the second week of February.

The first session of JEE Mains will be conducted on 23,24,25 and 26 February this year and as per the usual trend, link to download halltickets will be made available atleast 10 to 15 days before the exam.

2. NEET UG 2021
NEET UG has also garnered much attention of all those who keenly observe the world of education.

Supreme Court directed that vacant seats in first year BDS course for 2020-21 to be filled through candidates who took part in NEET UG exam after lowering their percentile by 10 percent.

Bench comprising Justice L. Nageswara Rao and Justice Krishna Murari gave this direction.

As per this direction, candidates from General category who secured 40 percent will be eligible for a seat in BDS course.

Also, students from SC/ST/OBC categories shall be eligible to get a seat if they secure 30 percent marks.

3. IIM Calcutta ranks 44
In yet another development in the world of education saw IIM Calcutta garnering 44th rank in FT Global MBA ranking for 2021.

IIM Calcutta won the rank for its one year full-time MBAEx programme. The institution also won third position among the five Indian B-Schools who were listed in the ranking.

Director of IIM Calcutta Professor Anju Seth said this ranking reiterated their commitment to delivering the best quality of management education at IIMC.

Moreover, the success of our alumni over the years is a true testament to this commitment, she said.

Chairperson of MBAEx programme Professor Manju Jaiswall said the rankings highlight IIM Calcutta’s leadership in delivering global management education.

4. PG Dip in CSR
A worth noting development in the world of education is that Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) launched Post Graduate Diploma programme in Corporate Social Responsibility (PG Dip in CSR).
