The corrections can be done from 23 to 24 April 2024 in WBJEEB ANM GNM 2024 Application.

What is WBJEEB ANM GNM?

The full name of the exam is the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (Revised) and General Nursing & Midwifery.

The shorter version of the name is WBJEEB ANM and GNM. It is a state-level exam held once every year.

Exam has questions related to physical science, basic english, general knowledge, logical reasoning, life science and mathematics.

Who can submit WBJEEB ANM GNM 2024 Application?

Candidates who have passed plus-two from a recognized educational institution can submit WBJEEB ANM GNM 2024 Application. The subjects in plus two must be biology, physics and chemistry.

The individuals must pass their qualifying exam with a minimum pass percentage of 40.

Those who are appearing for the final exam of their qualifying degree or have appeared and are waiting for the results can also apply.

However, these people have to pass the exam and provide a proof for that by the time the admission process commences.

Those willing to submit WBJEEB ANM GNM 2024 Application must be natives of West Bengal and citizens of India. The minimum age limit of the applicant must be 17 and there is no upper age limit.

Male and Female can apply for GNM course and ANM (R) is open for female applicants only.

5. Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill out WBJEEB ANM GNM 2024 Application.

The admit card card can be downloaded from the official website mentioned above. Process to download the admit card is mentioned below:

1. The URL ‘https://wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm/’ must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow it to download.

2. Once the website is ready, candidates can click the link for hall ticket and enter their credentials like application number, date of birth and submit them.

3. After submitting, candidates can view the admit card. They can download it and take a printout.

The Commission, at its 581 meeting held on 25th June 2024, has considered the recommendations of the expert committee and has decided to include “Ayurveda Biology” as an additional subject from December 2024 onwards to the present list of subjects of UGC-NET”, informed the commission.

The syllabus for the new subject of UGC NET is also available on its website ugcnetonline.in, also informed the commission.

“Ayurveda Biology is now covered as a subject in the UGC-NET exam. From December 2024, candidates can select this new subject that develops inter-disciplinary knowledge but also comprises Ayurveda – an ancient science,” the UGC informed through an X post on sharing the news.

As recently as June this year, the commission revealed that disaster management subjects would be added to the list of subjects for the UGC NET December 2024 exam.

The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year with the aim of declaring eligibility of aspirants for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), ineligibility for Assistant Professor, and admission to PhD programs at Indian colleges and universities.
