VITEEE 2021 will offer admission to study engineering courses offered at four of its campuses VIT namely – VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Andhra Pradesh and VIT Bhopal.

The courses
Students who gain admission through VITEEE 2021 can study Aerospace Engineering, Bio-Technology, Bioengineering, Civil Engineering.

The other engineering courses offered at VIT are Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and much more.

The eligibility
The candidates who wish to apply for VITEEE 2021 must have passed plus-two with physics, chemistry and maths as subjects.

If candidates are planning to study engineering courses related to biotechnology or other engineering courses which are biology oriented, they must have passed even in biology also in their plus-two.

Applicants for VITEEE 2021 must be born on or before 1 July 1999.

Applicants of VITEEE 2021 must be an Indian citizen residing in India.

However, even Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) residing in other countries can also apply.

Even foreign nation candidates can also apply for undergraduate engineering admission through this exam.

The pass percentage
The applicants for VITEEE 2021 must secure 60 percent pass marks in their qualifying exam (plus-two).

The applicants of VITEEE from SC/ST categories, Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the north eastern states of India must have 50 percent pass marks in their qualifying exam.

How to apply
Candidates willing to apply for VITEEE 2021 must visit the official website of VIT at ‘https://vit.ac.in/’ they must remember that process of applying for VITEEE 2021 is online.

Soon after the page downloads upon entering the above url, candidates must look at the right side below the banner.

They will find three buttons there, however, they have to click the first button ‘VITEEE 2021/B.Tech Admissions 2021’

As soon as they click the button it will take the students to another webpage with url ‘https://viteee.vit.ac.in/’ it is on this page that applicants will find a form on the left side and highlights about VIT on right side.

Students can fill the details like their name, residential status, select their gender, provide their email id, mobile phone number and enter the verification code and register.

Post registration, they can click, button ‘Login’ which will be located on the top of same form where they filled the details for registration.

Login will be located next to ‘New User’ button. Once candidates click ‘Login’ they have to enter their registered email id and password and also verification code and login.

Once the application filling process is over for VITEEE 2021, applicants have to pay the registration fee.

The registration fee for VITEEE 2021 is Rs 1150 if paying from online web browser. The same if paying through mobile app is Rs 1050.

If applicants are applying to write VITEEE 2021 at an abroad location they have to pay an amount equivalent to USD 50 in Indian rupees.

Post payment candidates can upload their photograph and scanned image of their signature.

Scanned files (jpg format) of the candidate’s photo must be of 3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height and must be of size of 10-200 kB and image of their signature must of 3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm in height and of 10-200 kB in size.

Applicants for VITEEE 2021 must also upload 12th standard exam hall ticket, 12th standard mark sheet, (eligible) JEE Score Card 2021 if any, (Eligible) SAT Score Card if any and Aadhar Card also while filling the application form.

Important dates
Registration for VITEEE 2021 commenced on 30 November, the last date to apply is 30 March 2021. VITEEE 2021 exam will be held tentatively from second to third week of April 2021.

The counselling for engineering admissions will be tentatively in first week of May 2021. Classes will tentatively commence during second week of July next year.

The mode of the exam is online, every correct answer will get one mark and there is no negative marking in this exam.

The test is divided into five parts, Part 1 – Mathematics/Biology, Part 2 – Physics, Part 3 – Chemistry, Part 4 – English and Part 5 – Aptitude.

Students who appear for maths, physics, chemistry, english and aptitude can apply for all engineering courses.

Those who pass biology, physics, chemistry, english and aptitude are eligible to study only biotechnology oriented engineering programmes or biology oriented engineering programmes.

The registration is currently for the second phase of admissions in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology which is also know as KIIT.

The dates for second phase of admissions may be announced later, as of now the first phase of admissions are going on for which KIITEE is being conducted.

This is an institutional level exam and is conducted online mode, where questions have to be answered on a computer screen.

The test is also conducted on remote proctored mode, where candidates can take the examination on a computer from any location.

Questions in the exam would depend on the subject the candidate is trying to seek admission through the exam. For graduate admission questions are related to academic subjects taught in class 12.

For post graduate courses, questions in the entrance exam will be related to the graduation lessons of the respective subject in which candidate desires to pursue post graduation.

The admit card must be downloaded and students must take it with them when they appear for the entrance test at the designated test center.
