VITEEE 2020: Great, exam is from 29 July to 2 August
VITEEE 2020, VIT Engineering Entrance Examination 2020 will take place from 29 July to 2 August. Vellore Institute of Technology, a reputed educational institution based in Vellore in Tamilnadu conducts the exam.
Candidates who pass VITEEE-2020 get an opportunity to study engineering courses (B.Tech) in various streams across its campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) and Bhopal.
Sources say, the reasons behind these changes in the dates is the lock down caused by corona virus outbreak in India. VITEEE is usually conducted in April every year, however VITEEE 2020 did not take place as per the usually planned schedule.
VITEEE 2020 will be held in more than 110 cities in three different sessions. This is also a very well-known exam and students apply in large numbers every year.

Sources say, more than one lakh students applied for the exam last year. Success in VITEEE 2020 can be obtained if the applicant is good at maths, physics, chemistry, biology subjects that are taught at 12th standard level.
After passing VITEEE 2020, students have to attend counselling sessions. Admissions are provided based on the performance in VITEEE 2020 and also marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
Candidates with bright academic record also receive a good encouragement at VIT in form of fee waiver. A very good score in the qualifying exam either from state board or central board is likely to earn the student a 100 percent fee waiver.
It isn’t only that, even students who score remains in top 1 to 50 in VITEEE also are said to get fee waivers. So students must prepare well and get a good score in VITEEE 2020.
The date for slot booking for VITEEE 2020 will be announced at a later date, date for declaration of results, counselling dates and class commencement dates will also be announced later.
