Vellore Institute of Technology held a sports event. In this event, hundreds of teams from universities in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana participated.

Meghanatha Reddy inaugurated the Men’s Badminton tournament at  Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). Meghanatha Reddy is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member secretary of the Sports Development Authority Of Tamil Nadu (SDAT). This Tournament was started on 19, 2023 (Tuesday).

Youngsters have role models who will inspire and take them on the right path to success in life, as instructed by Meghanatha Reddy.  Meghanatha Reddy said youngsters must develop a style that sets them apart from others.

G.V. Selvam’s thoughts on this six-day Men’s Badminton Tournament

It would help, motivate students and provide them with opportunities, as stated by G.V. Selvam. G.V. Selvam is vice chairman

of Vellore Institute Of Technology (VIT), and he has been associated with the institution since 1999. He also gave a speech about the importance of maintaining health.

Top 10 Government University in Tamil Nadu

Hundred-plus teams from universities in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana are participating in the tournament. The top four teams from this tournament will participate in All India Inter University Badminton, which will be held in Indore ( The Cleanest City Of India).

2019 Badminton Tournament of Vellore Institute of Technology

Around 14 universities participated in the Men and Women Inter-University Badminton Tournament, conducted under the guidance of the Sports Development Authority Of Tamil Nadu (SDAT).

In the Women’s section, Madhuraj Kamaraj University came out as the champion of the Tournament. Bharathiar University, Coimbatore was the second best. The University of Madras took third place and (VIT) Vellore Institute of Technology was placed fourth in the Tournament of 2019 Inter-University Badminton.
