UPSC 2021 exams: CS Prelims 2021 on great 10 October
UPSC 2021 exams is about the tests to be conducted by UPSC during 2021 for recruitment for various government posts.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has also released the revised calendar with regards to UPSC 2021 exams and is available on the official website.
As per the revised calendar related to UPSC 2021 exams, Preliminary of Civil Services Exam for 2021 will take place on 10 October.
The notification in connection with civil services exam for this year was 4 March and the last date for submitting applications was 24 March for CS prelims exam 2021.
As per the revised calendar for UPSC 2021 exams, the Civil Services Mains exam for this year will be conducted from 7 January 2022.
Sources say, dates to conduct Mains exam for Civil Services 2021 will be held on 7,8,9,15, and 16.
The notification in connection with Civil Services Mains exam this year will be released at the appropriate time.
The dates to submit applications for CS Mains exam 2021 will also be announced in due course. The duration of the Mains exams 2021 is for five days, as per the new calendar on UPSC 2021 exams.
The calendar has information about 20 exams conducted by Union Public Service Commission. This year proved no different when it came to academic activities and government recruitment exams.

School and college exams had to be postponed this year too, just like the previous year. The COVID-19 situation led to change in exam schedule for educational institutions.

The issue regarding Civil Services Prelims exam is a case worth mentioning in this regard. Civil Services Prelims Exam was to take place on June 27 this year.
New calendar for UPSC 2021 exams says, the exam will be conducted on 10 October this year.
They can visit the official website of UPSC at ‘https://www.upsc.gov.in/’ and as the webpage downloads, they can click the button ‘Examination’ located right below the banner.
Clicking ‘Examination’ will open a menu with various titles, individuals have to choose the first one ‘Calendar’
The moment they choose ‘Calendar’ another webpage would download where they can see a box with three options – Revised Annual Calendar 2021, Annual Calendar 2021 and Revised Annual Calendar 2020.
Applicants can choose the first one ‘Revised Annual Calendar 2021’ and click it to view the schedule of exams to be conducted by UPSC during this year.
Individuals interested in career in defence must remember that CDS Examination (II) for 2021 will be conducted on 14 November.
As per the revised calendar on UPSC 2021 exams, the notification for CDS II 2021 will be released on 4 August and last date to submit applications will be 24 August.
Another point worth noting for students interested in career in armed forces is about NDA and NA (II) examination for this year.
NDA and NA (National Defence Academy and Naval Academy) (II) examination 2021 will be conducted on 14 November.
The notification in connection with this exam was released on 9 June 2021 and the last date to submit application as per the revised calendar on UPSC 2021 exams is 29 June.
The new calendar contains schedule of about 20 UPSC 2021 exams. CDS (II) examination for this year will be conducted on 14 November.
Notification for CDS (II) 2021 will be released on 4 August and last date to submit application is 24 August.
Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main examination for 2021 will be held on 27 February 2022.
As per the UPSC 2021 exams revised calendar, the date for notification release and last date for application submission would be informed in due course.
Further, revised calendar on UPSC 2021 exams mentions that Engineering Services Main Examination will be conducted on 27 February 2022.
However, candidates must also remember that the schedule of exams announced in the new calendar is liable to change.
There could be a change in the dates for notification release, dates for conducting exam, if situations prevailing then, create a need for change.
