Unacademy 2020: Great learning platform acquires PrepLadder
Unacademy, India’s largest learning platform announced the acquisition of PrepLadder for 50 million dollars. PrepLadder is the leading postgraduate medical entrance exam preparation platform.
This acquisition will further strengthen the presence of Unacademy in medical entrance examination categories such as NEET PG and FMGE.
It is interesting to note that Unacademy has recorded a 100% increase in the number of active subscribers since March this year.
Gaurav Munjal, co-founder and CEO of Unacademy said as they strengthen their position as a market leader in the test prep market, bringing PrepLadder on board will play a strategic role for Unacademy in the medical entrance examinations category.

The monthly watch time minutes has also reached an all-time high of over 1 billion.
Additionally, over 525,000 learners attempted various mock tests on the platform for competitive examinations such as UPSC, NEET-PG, and CAT among others during this period.

The platform currently has over 10,000 educators, more than 30 million learners and caters to over 35 exam categories.
