The registration commenced on 19 November 2024, it can be done till 11:50 PM on 10 December 2024. Registration fee in connection with UGC NET December 2024 Exam application submission can be done till 11:50 PM on 11 December 2024.
Candidates who have taken up UGC NET December 2024 Exam application submission will be able to take up corrections in the forms submitted from 12 to 13 December 2024. The correction facility will be open till 11:50 PM on 13 December 2024.
Examination will be conducted from 1 to 19 January 2025, the dates for announcing city of exam centre, making admit cards available for download and display of recorded responses and answer keys will be informed later.
Registration Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs 1150 while submitting UGC NET December 2024 Exam Application if they are General or Unreserved category. The same is Rs 600 for candidates from General-EWS/OBC-NCL categories.
UGC NET December 2024 Exam Application submission fee is Rs 325 for candidates from SC/ST/PwD and Third Gender categories.
About the exam
The full name of the exam is University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. It is conducted by National Testing Agency two times a year.
The first time, it is conducted in June and December for the second time. Individuals who wish to pursue research (Ph.D., Junior Research Fellowship, JRF) or apply for the post of assistant professor in various colleges located across India can apply for the exam.

6. Once the website with above URL is available, candidates can login and start filling the UGC NET December 2024 exam application form.

When to submit UGC NET 2024 exam Application?
The candidates can submit UGC NET 2024 exam application two times in a year. The first time the application can be submitted in March and the exam will be in June.

How to download the hall ticket?
The process to download the hall ticket for the exam is online. Candidates have to visit the official website for it at ‘https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/’
1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow it to download.
2. Once the website is available, candidates can click the link for downloading the admit card.
3. Clicking the link will likely open another webpage, when that opens, candidates can enter their application number, date of birth and other details and submit them to obtain the admit card.
Point to remember
Applicants who have successfully completed their UGC NET December 2024 exam application submission process will alone be able to download the hall ticket.
Students after viewing the admit card can check for the presence of errors on it. If there are no errors, they can download and take its printout.
In case of errors, they can take it to the notice of authorities concerned for rectification.
