UGC NET 2024 Application Deadline Tomorrow: How to Apply and Important Details

Tomorrow is the last day to apply for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024. Aspirants can fill the UGC NET application form 2024 for the December session exam on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The window for UGC NET will open until 11:50 pm on December 10. After the registration has concluded, December 11 is provided for the payment of fee, if the candidate has also completed their registration. The registration fee for the general candidates would be Rs 1,150. General-EWS or OBC-NCL candidates will have to submit a fee of Rs 600. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and transgender along with PwD candidates will have to make a payment of Rs 325.

UGC NET 2024 Registration: Required Documents

Following documents would be required for UGC NET 2024 registration

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Qualifying degree certificate
• Passport size identical photo
• Signature Valid photo Id
• Category certificate
• Caste certificate

The NTA will open the application correction window for UGC NET December 2024 from December 12 to December 13. Candidates who successfully registered can modify their personal details, academic qualification, exam city preferences and scanned photos during this period.

The UGC NET December 2024 will be conducted through computer-based test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects from January 1, 2025 to January 19, 2025. Scores will be utilized for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) award, appointment of assistant professor in Indian universities, and admission in PhD courses.
