About UCEED Exam

The full name of the exam is Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design and is popularly known by its shorter version UCEED. It is a national level exam conducted once every year.

UCEED 2025 is meant to be conducted for next year to admit students into B Des course in IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur.

The test has two parts – Part A and Part B, Part A is a computer based test where questions have to be answered in a computer screen at the test center.

Part B is a test held in offline mode, where questions have to be answered on a separate answer sheet provided at the test center. The duration to answer questions in Part A is two hours and the same for Part B is one hour.

Candidates who have passed plus two from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India can take up UCEED 2025 Exam Registration.

Applicants can pass plus two in any stream – arts, science, commerce or humanities. Even those who are about to appear for their qualifying exam or who have appeared and are waiting for the results can also take up UCEED 2025 Exam Registration.

However, these candidates have to pass the qualifying exam and provide a proof for it by the time the admission process commences. There is more to it than meets the eye.

After Registration

Candidates who have completed their UCEED 2025 Exam Registration can download their admit card which is also known as hall ticket. The process to download hall ticket is mentioned below:

1. The URL of the website ‘https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in/2025/’ has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the website is available, candidates can click the link for the admit card.

3. Clicking the link for admit card download will likely open another webpage with another URL.

4. After the new page opens, candidates can enter their application number, date of birth and other details and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

5. Once the hall ticket is visible, it can be downloaded and a printout can be taken.

The website of each institution can be visited separately by those who have passed the exam to know about the application schedule. The process of application for admission will be informed at the appropriate time.
