TS PGECET 2020: Great hall-tickets could be avbl soon
TS PGECET 2020 applicants can get ready to download hall-tickets for the exam.
Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test, also popularly known among the students as TS PGECET is a state level entrance test conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE).
TS PGECET 2020 registrations began on 12 March this year soon after the respective notification was released on 4 March.
The last date to submit applications for TS PGECET 2020 was 10 June without late fee, the same with payment of late fee of Rs 500 31 July.
As the submission of applications was over last month the focus now has shifted towards issue of hall-tickets for TS PGECET 2020.
While there is no notification as of now about the hall-ticket, sources say, there could some decision in this regard soon.
It is interesting to note that even the exam date for TS PGECET 2020 was postponed in the recent past owing to COVID-19 situation.
As the situation is moving towards normalcy, announcement of TS PGECET 2020 exam date is made. TS PGECET 2020 exam will take place from 21 to 24 September in two shifts
After the announcement of exam date, announcement of hall-ticket download date for TS PGECET 2020 is likely to be made.
It is usual practice to make available the hall-ticket for download about 15 to 20 days before the exam.
As per this, the hallticket can be made available for download in the months of August or September.
Applicants of TS PGECET 2020 must remember that the method to download the hall-ticket is online. There is no other way of obtaining the hall-ticket.
It is to be remembered that exam hall-ticket will also not be sent by post to the residences of the candidates.

An appropriate link will be provided and candidates can click it to download their hall-tickets for the exam. The link will be visible on the official website in due course of time.
Applicants can click the official website link of TSCHE and after the website downloads, applicants have to click the appropriate link there for TS PGECET 2020 which will lead to the official website of exam whose url is mentioned earlier.
Applicants after accessing the official website of TS PGECET 2020, can click the required link for downloading the hall-ticket and enter their registration number, date of birth and exam paper for entrance test.
After the above details are provided, applicants can click on the hall-ticket download button. Post download of hall-ticket, candidates must check it for any errors with regards to candidate’s name, address, date of birth, qualification, exam centre.
If they find errors, they can approach the authorities concerned through appropriate methods for timely error rectification.
The exact information about the candidate on the hall-ticket for TS PGECET 2020 exam are Name, Gender, Father’s Name, Category, Date of Birth, Hall-ticket number, Exam center Venue, Date and Time of the exam, photograph, Signature and Instructions.
Candidates after checking the accuracy in the data with regards to above mentioned fields and ensuring no errors, they can go for downloading of the hall-ticket.
Applicants must remember that only those candidates who have paid the registration fee for TS PGECET 2020 will be able to download hall-tickets.
Candidates should not forget to bring their valid admit card (hall-ticket) for the exam, failing which they will not be allowed to sit for TS PGECET 2020.
Applicants must be present at the exam centre one hour before the exam commencement time.
Calculators, smartphones and other electronic gadgets will not be allowed inside the exam centre. TS PGECET 2020 will be conducted in online mode.
The duration of the exam is two hours and each paper in TS PGECET 2020 will have 120 questions. The medium of the exam is english.
TS PGECET 2020 will have no negative marking, right answer will fetch one mark, wrong answer will not lead to deduction of any marks.
This exam will have 17 subjects as papers, each represents one particular stream of engineering.
Candidates can choose any of these paper as per their interested engineering stream.
