This is about graduate engineering (BTech) and architecture (BArch) admission in colleges located in Tamil Nadu.

Admission into courses would be done based on the scores obtained in class 12 marks.

Random number would be allotted on 12 June 2024. Those who have submitted TNEA Counselling 2024 application can get their certificates verified at TFCs from 13 to 30 June 2024.

The rank list will be published on 10 July 2024 and grievance redressal will be done from 11 to 20 July 2024.

Candidates who have completed plus two from a recognized educational institution can submit TNEA Counselling 2024 application. The subjects in plus two must be maths, physics and chemistry.

Those who are aiming for biology oriented engineering courses must have studied plus two with biology, physics and chemistry as subjects if they are to submit TNEA Counselling 2024 application.

Applicants must be native of Tamil Nadu, children of central government employees can also apply, however, the parents or guardians of these children must have been serving in Tamil Nadu for the past five years.

Candidates can accept the seat they have been sanctioned in the counselling and join the institution. Those wishing to wait for higher allotment can exercise the option of upward movement.

They must report to the nearest TFC, on or before the date specified in the allotment order and pay the necessary fees for upward movement and confirmation of previous allotment.

Applicants can also decline the allotted seat and choose to get allotted in higher order. Those who are not satisfied with the allotted seat and then not willing to wait for upward movement can go for next round.
