TN ITI 2020 registration has commenced and the last date for applying for various courses is 15 September.
TN ITI 2020 admission is being conducted by Directorate of Employment and Training, Government of Tamil Nadu. This process is a state level process and is held once a year.

Carpentry, Basic Cosmetology, Civil Engineering Assistant, Computer Hardware Network Maintenance are among the courses students admitted into ITIs get to study.

These courses are designed in such a way that they equip students with right skills to help them land in jobs in industry soon after course completion or they enable the students to embark on a journey of starting their own ventures.

Candidates willing to apply TN ITI 2020 admission must have passed 8th standard from a recognised school. Students with a 10th pass also can apply for the admission.

However, students applying for TN ITI 2020 admission must ensure that they have a minimum pass percentage of 35 percent in their qualifying exam.

Candidates who are writing their qualifying exams can also apply for TN ITI 2020, however, they must ensure that can produce their marksheets of their qualifying exam by the time of admissions.

The age group of the applicants for TN ITI 2020 must be between 14 to 40 years.

However, for the wives of soldiers martyred in war, widows and divorcees and women candidates in general do not have any upper age limit for applying for TN ITI 2020 admission.

The application process for TN ITI 2020 admission began on 16 August and the last date to apply is 15 September.

DET’s official website can be accessed at ‘https://skilltraining.tn.gov.in/DET/’ Soon after they open the website to apply for TN ITI 2020 admission, they will see two links, while one is for candidates who have to register, the other is for those who are already registered.

Applicants who are applying for the first time for TN ITI 2020 have to first register themselves by clicking the ‘New Registration’ button written in white colour on green background.

Students while registration must provide their email id, mobile number and type a password, and also must type their name and numerical code and submit the details.

Soon after this, user name and password is created. Using these details, applicants can login and start applying for TN ITI 2020.

Candidates must provide the user name which either their email id or mobile number and type the password and enter the numerical code and login.

The registration process for TN ITI 2020 admission is not complete till the registration fee is paid. The registration fee is Rs 50.

The methods to pay the registration fee is online banking, debit card, credit card, Google pay/PayTM.
After the fee is paid, application has to be submitted finally and the printout of the submission confirmation has to be taken and preserved for future use.

The final list of candidates in the order of merit will be released post submission.

The selected candidates will be divided into groups and the date and time of online counselling will be decided and informed to the candidates.
