TISSNET is expanded into TISS National Entrance Test and is conducted once every year by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, also known as TISS. TISSNET 2023 is meant to be conducted this year (2023). Students seeking admission into various programs at TISS can focus on this test.

Over 57 courses are being offered at the institution which comprises five one-year courses, 51 two-year courses, a three-year BEd and MEd program, and three PG diploma programs. The process to apply for TISSNET 2023 is online and the last date for that has been extended to January 28 from its earlier January 15, 2023.

Individuals can type the URL mentioned earlier on their computers’ browsers and allow the website to download. Once the website has been downloaded, they can view the list of the courses available. Once they have seen the programs available, candidates can click the link for application and register.

Registration must be done, and an account must be created with a username and password. Post account creation, candidates can log in and start filling out the application form for TISSNET 2023. Selection of the students for the courses will be on the concepts – the performance in the entrance test (TISSNET 2023), performance in the qualifying degree exam, choice of the course by students, and availability of seats.

About The Exam

The full name of the exam is Symbiosis Law Admission Test and is popularly known as SLAT.

This is an institutional level exam which is conducted once a year and students who pass this exam can apply to study BA LLB, BBA LLB, BA LLB Hons and BBA LLB Hons in Symbiosis Law Schools.

Test will be conducted as a computer based test – questions have to answered on a computer screen at the designated test center. The duration to answer the questions is one hour or 60 minutes.
