TRL (Tamil Nadu Robotics League) is expected to witness a participation of 4000 students from over 350 schools.

Second Edition

The second edition of Tamil Nadu Robotics League saw over 3,500 students from 250 schools.

Building on last year’s success, the 2024 edition is expected to attract even more talent and enthusiasm, as students come together to tackle challenges that require not only technical expertise but also teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Competitions

The one-day event will feature a variety of robotics competitions and hands-on activities, offering participants a unique opportunity to enhance their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills while exploring the exciting possibilities of space exploration.

Tamil Nadu Robotics League continues to play a key role in fostering the next generation of innovators and tech leaders.

Who can apply?

TRL will be conducted in three categories – Robotics Junior, Robotics Senior, Robotics Super Senior.

Students of classes 4 to 6 can take part in Robotics Junior category.

Students of classes 7 to 8 can take part in Robotics Senior category and Robotics Super Senior category participants must be students of classes 9 to 12.

The institute has released the summer placement report of PGDM for the batch 2023-25 and final placement details for the batch 2022-24 in the information brochure for the upcoming admission cycle 2025.

A total of 188 students took part in the MDI PGDM final placement drive 2022-24, with 77% males and 23% females. The total recruiters present at the event were about 100 and the average package was Rs 11.76 lakh per annum.

As per the MDIM PGDM batch 2023-25 summer placements data, a total of 182 students comprising 80% male and 20% female students participated in the placement drive.

Among the students, 77% were freshers and 9% had work experience of less than a year. Seven percent had 2 years of work experience 7% had over 2 years of job experience and 7% had over 2 years of job experience.

MDI Murshidabad Placements: Top recruiters

The summer placements saw participation from as many as 48 recruiters in domains across strategy, finance, marketing, human resources, supply chain and operations. Meanwhile, the final PDGM placement drive saw a diverse cross-section of recruiters in sectors such as BFSI, IT, marketing, HR services, manufacturing, consulting and many more.

BFSI emerged as the most sought-after domain accounting for 27.1% of the total offers received. Other sectors include automobile, energy, telecommunication, manufacturing, and supply chain. This Institute is achieving greater milestones due to the continuous faith of recruiters, the institute said.

Whereas, prominent companies that were part of the placement drive included Airtel, Axis Bank, Dabur, Colgate, Cognizant and many more.

In a significant achievement, the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) recently approved the PGDM program by MDIM for the academic years 2024-25 to 2026-27 and deemed it equivalent to MBA by AIU for three years.
