The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued the Exam City Intimation Slip for the RRB Technician Exam 2024. Candidates who have successfully applied for the exam can now view their exam city, date, and shift details by visiting the official website at rrbapply.gov.in.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 14,298 vacancies for Technician Grade I Signal and Grade III Technician positions. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will take place between December 19 and December 29, 2024.

Steps to Download RRB Technician Exam 2024 City Intimation Slip
To check and download your city intimation slip, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official RRB website: rrbapply.gov.in.
- Click on the link titled “Technician (CEN 02/2024) – City Intimation Slip.”
- Enter your birth date and registration number in the login field.
- Click “Submit” to get the specifics of your exam city.
- Download the city slip and print a copy for reference.
The city intimation slip will contain critical details such as your exam city, date, shift timings, and important instructions for the exam day.
RRB Technician Exam Pattern 2024
The RRB Technician CBT will be conducted online and will consist of the following:
- Number of Questions: 100 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Marking Scheme:
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Incorrect Answer: -1/3 mark (negative marking)
