NRTI admission 2020 is all about National Rail and Transportation Institute inviting applications for 10 courses offered by it.

Eight of the courses being offered through NRTI admission 2020 are new, most of these programmes are unique and offered exclusively at National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI).

This NRTI admission 2020 will be the third year intake at the institute which has witnessed considerable progress over these years towards its vision of being among the top universities in the country.

NRTI admission 2020 is about admitting students into its well-known BSc and BBA programmes in Transportation Technology and Transportation Management respectively.

NRTI admission 2020 will also be providing seats in two new programmes each in B.Tech, MBA and MSc. Briefly, the admission is being provided into graduate, graduate engineering and post graduate courses.

3. MSc in Transport Technology and Policy
4. MSc in Transport Economics
5. MSc in Transport Information Systems and Analytics
6. MS in Railway Systems Engineering and Integration (International degree programme offered in collaboration with University of Birmingham, UK)

NRTI admission 2020

NRTI admission 2020 for undergraduate courses of BSc and BBA will be done based on the score of NRTI UG entrance test which will be held across the country.

The intake into graduate engineering courses through NRTI admission 2020 will be based on score obtained in JEE Mains 2020.

Candidates willing to join MSc programmes through NRTI admission 2020 have to attend NRTI PG entrance test and this will also be conducted at various locations across the country.

MSc applicants will also have to appear for a subject test and interview. The admission will be provided based on overall performance in all these stages.

MBA programme enthusiasts must have a valid CAT (2019), XAT (2020) or MAT (later than May 2019) scores. Having these valid scores may provide exemption from PG entrance test.

Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their score in NRTI PG Entrance Test or CAT/XAT/MAT as above and they have to appear for personal interview post shortlisting.

Admission will be offered based on overall results. As far as Masters course in Railway Systems Engineering and Integration are concerned, selection will be jointly done by University of Birmingham in UK and NRTI.

The eligibility criteria for applying for NRTI admission 2020 is different for each category. A pass in plus-two with maths is must for applying for BBA in Transportation Management under NRTI admission 2020.

A pass in plus-two with maths (science stream) is the qualification for admission into BSc in Transportation Technology.

NRTI admission 2020

Applicants willing to apply for post graduate courses must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with maths or statistics as one of the subjects, with aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI of at least 55% (50% for OBC/SC/ST).

The minimum pass mark percentage in the qualifying exam must be 55 percent for general category students and 50 percent for OBC, SC and ST category candidates.

The applicants willing apply for NRTI admission 2020 must be 25 years in age as on August 1 2020.

The last date for applying for graduate and post graduate programmes is July 31 and the same for applying for B.Tech programmes under NRTI admission 2020 is 14 September.

The NRTI entrance test for UG and PG admissions will be held on August 23. NRTI admission 2020 will take in 125 students for BBA and BSc courses.

The intake for two B.Tech programmes is 60 students and the post graduate programme has an intake of 100 students.

As far as reservations are concerned, they will be provided as per the norms of Government of India.

Candidates have to pay the application fee while applying for admission. The fee is Rs 500 for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
