Individuals willing to apply for NIT AP MBA admission must remember the course is flagship programme of School of Humanities and Management and is designed envisioning the demand and futuristic skills.
Course and eligibility
MBA programme is of two year duration and has four semesters. The specialisations offered are – Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Production and Operations Management and Business Analytics and Decision Making.
Individuals wishing to apply for NIT AP MBA admission must be a graduate from any discipline with a CGPA score of 6.5 on a scale of 10 or 60 percent pass marks.
There is a relaxation of 5 percent with regards to pass percentage in the qualifying exam if the applicants for NIT AP MBA admission are from SC/ST/PwD (Physically Challenged) categories.
Applicants targeting this NIT AP MBA admission should also have passed CAT or CMAT or MAT or GMAT exams which are conducted on a national level in connection with MBA admissions.
Point to remember
NIT AP MBA admission applicants who have not qualified any of the above mentioned national level exams have to attend a written test. The test would be conducted for these applicants if seats remain vacant after admitting candidates who have passed CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT.
Selection process
NIT AP MBA admission applicants will be shortlisted based on CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT or any other national level exam in connection with MBA admissions.
The other points to be considered for shortlisting are academic credentials (marks obtained in the graduate exam) and work experience of the candidates.

Candidates who are shortlisted will have to take part in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Weightage
Score in CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT would have 50 percent weightage in NIT AP MBA admission process. The academic performance (marks obtained in the graduation) will have 10 percent weightage.
Work experience of the candidates will have 10 percent weightage, group discussion and personal interview carry 15 percent weightage each in the selection process.

Soon after the webpage downloads, applicants can see a button titled ‘Application Portal – AY 2022-24’
They can click that button and when another webpage with url ‘https://www.nitandhra.ac.in/main/mba’ downloads, candidates will see another button ‘Click for Application Portal’
Candidates must press the above button and when webpage with url ‘https://nitandhra.ac.in/mba/’ appears, they can commence registration and obtain username and password.
Post obtaining the username and password, applicants can login with help of them and start applying for NIT AP MBA admission.

Registration fee
The application fee to be paid while applying for NIT AP MBA admission is Rs 1500 for applicants from Open/OBC/EWS categories. The same for candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories is Rs 750.

Important dates
The applications in connection with MBA admission can be submitted from 1 to 30 October. The list of candidates who are shortlisted for Personal Interview/Group Discussion will be released on 5 November.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be held from 8 to 9 November. The first, second and third list of selected candidates with regards to NIT AP MBA admission will be announced on 12,16,20 November.
