NHAI Urges Media to Correct False Reports Regarding Guest House Involvement in NEET Paper Leak Case

The explanation was provided in response to multiple stories that claimed the paper leak happened in an NHAI-owned guest house in Patna. Thirteen candidates and Sikandar, a junior engineer from the Danapur municipality, have been arrested and imprisoned in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case. Sikandar admitted during questioning that on May 4, he helped his nephew Anurag Yadav and Anurag’s mother Reena Kumari get lodging at the purported NHAI guest house.

After checking into the NHAI guest home, Anurag went to a play school in Khemnichak, which is outside of Patna. Anurag and other applicants are said to have been given access to the exam question paper at this location, with instructions to commit the answers to memory.

Yadav was detained along with four other candidates due to discrepancies in the results after he admitted that the leaked question paper he had been given was identical to the real exam material.

Yadav acknowledged having access to the leaked NEET question paper and answers in advance. As per his self-signed confession letter, he was surprised to find that the exam question paper he was given coincided with the one that had been supplied by his uncle.

Another significant development is the admission by a Bihari national that they leaked the NEET question paper the night before the test. Mastermind Amit Anand revealed the specifics of the fraud, saying that candidates were given the leaked question paper and answers the night before the test and forced to commit the answers to memory.
