Important dates
The application submission for NEET UG Exam 2020 began on 2 December last year. The last date to submit application from extended till 6 January from its earlier 31 December.
The applications submitted for NEET UG Exam 2020 was open for correction from 15 to 31 January originally, however that was lateron extended till 3 May this year.
The exam date
NEET UG Exam 2020 was supposed to be held on 3 May as per the earlier planned schedule. Now that has been postponed. The date of exam will be announced shortly.
Any announcements about date for NEET UG Exam 2020 is likely to be made after the present lock down is lifted.
Moreover, The dates for NEET are to be announced keeping in view even the 12th, 10th exams of CBSE Board also. So a decision in this regard may take sometime.
However, candidates of NEET UG Exam 2020 are supposed to visit the NTA ‘ntaneet.nic.in‘ for updates regarding the exam at regular intervals. They can keep track of the exam dates even on their mobile number and email id also.
The date for downloading of admit card was 27 March previously. As the date of the exam is postponed even this is also postponed. As per the estimates, date for downloading hall-ticket for NEET UG Exam 2020 will be announced on the official website of NEET at the appropriate time.
As per estimates, one can say the hall-ticket download will be allowed at least 10 days before the commencement of the exam, candidates can likely download hall-tickets till the day of the exam.
The result date

Post result
Applicants who have passed NEET UG Exam 2020 must appear for counselling. This will be held in three rounds, Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-up Round.
The round 1 counselling is expected to be in the month of June this year, round 2 of the same is expected to be in July this year. Mop-up round counselling could be in the month of August this year.
Applicants must remember that these are estimated dates, exact dates may be announced once the exam results are declared. Applicants must visit the official website of NEET at regular intervals.
The best time would be to logon to the portal soon after the results for NEET UG Exam 2020 are declared.

Exam pattern
The question paper for NEET UG Exam 2020 comprises multiple choice questions. More than one answer is provided to each query as a reply and candidates have to chose the right answer.
The subjects for questions are Physics, Chemistry, Biology (zoology and Botany). There will be 45 questions each for Physics and Chemistry and Biology will have 90 questions.
The total number of questions is 180 and duration for answering the questions is three hours. Every right answer will get four marks, wrong answer will deduct one mark.
