NEET UG counselling: Great registration from 27 Oct to 2 Nov
NEET UG counselling is about to commence and candidates can start registration for the first round of it from 27 October to 2 November.
Medical education aspirants can register for NEET UG counselling till 5 pm of 2 November as per server time.
The rest of the 85 percent medical seats will be filled as per the counselling schedules conducted by respective medical education department or health department or other authority concerned of the states concerned.
Candidates targeting them have to apply when the respective state authorities commence counselling process.

The registration for the first round of NEET UG counselling will be open for a period of seven days.
And, the payment facility in connection with first round NEET UG counselling will be open simultaneously till 7 pm of 2 November as per the server time.
Post registration for the first round of NEET UG counselling, choice filling of seats will take place from 28 October till 11:59 pm of 2 November as per server time.
Choice locking in connection with first round of NEET UG counselling will begin from 4 pm of 2 November and will go on till 11:59 pm of 2 November.
Choice filling and locking will go on for a duration of 6 days. Processing of seat allotment with regards to first round of NEET UG counselling will take place from 3 to 4 November, which will be for a duration of two days.
The result will be out on 5 November and reporting in connection with first round of NEET UG counselling will be from 6 to 12 November, which is a duration of seven days.
The registration for the second round of NEET UG counselling will begin after a gap of seven days after the first round counselling comes to an end.
Students can register for the second round of NEET UG counselling from 18 November till 3 pm of 22 November as per server time, which is for a duration of five days.
The payment facility in connection with the registration for second round of NEET UG counselling will be available simultaneously till 5 pm of 22 November as per the server time.
Post registration for second round of NEET UG counselling, choice filling will take place from 19 to 22 November, which will be for a duration of four days.
Choice locking will be available for the second round from 3 pm of 22 November to 11:59 pm of 22 November.
Processing of seat allotment for second round of NEET UG counselling will take place from 23 to 24 November, which is for a duration of two days.
The result for the second round will be out on 25 November and reporting for the same will be from 26 November to 2 December, which is for a period of seven days.
The medical seats left vacant in the first and second round of NEET UG counselling will be transferred to the state quota.
The registration for the mopup round of UG NEET counselling will happen from 10 December till 3 pm of 14 December as per server time, which is of five days duration.
Payment facility simultaneously will be open till 5 pm of 14 December. Choice filling for mop-up round NEET UG counselling will take place from 11 December till 11:59 pm as per server time, which is of four days duration.
Choice locking will be available for the mopup round from 3 pm to 11:59 pm of 14 December. The seat allotment processing for the mopup round will be held from 15 to 16 December, which is of two day duration.
The result will be out on 17 December and reporting for mopup round will be from 18 to 24 December, which is for a duration of seven days.
The transfer of seats remaining vacant in the mopup round of NEET UG counselling will be shifted to stray vacancy round which will happen from 28 to 31 December where they will be filled.
How to register
Students whose score is either equal to the cutoff or above it can take part in the counselling for All India Quota seats.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the authority to conduct NEET UG counselling for All India Quota. MCC comes under the control of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Government of India.
Candidates have to visit the website of MCC at ‘https://mcc.nic.in/’ Soon after the webiste downloads, students can find three buttons titled ‘PG Medical Counseling,’ ‘UG Medical Counseling’ and ‘Super Speciality Counseling’
Students since are applying for graduate medical seats (MBBS), they have to choose ‘UG Medical Counselling’
Soon after clicking the button another page with url ‘https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/’ would open.
Students can find column titled ‘Online Services’ located on the leftside right below the title banner.
Applicants have to click ‘New Registration’ button under ‘Online Services’
Candidates have to provide NEET UG Application Number, NEET UG Roll Number, Name of the Candidate and Date of Birth.
Post providing all these details, candidates must create a username and password.
Applicants have to remember that the password must have 8 to 13 characters and it must contain one Capital letter, one numeric and one special character.
Once the above details are submitted finally, candidates will receive an OTP on their mobile number.
Applicants for NEET UG counselling have to enter the OTP and complete the registration process. The printout of the final output can be taken and preserved.
Once they login to the official website, candidates have to click the option ‘Choice Available’ and can make their choice of the medical college.
They can also choose more than one medical college for studying and prioritize their choices also.
Once candidates submit their choices on the website of MCC, a mock seat allotment will be released through which students can find out if they can get a seat as per their choice.
Candidate can lock their choices they have made in case they are not sure of getting the college they desire.
However, candidates have to remember that once they lock their choice they cannot unlock or change the choice.
Candidates can take a printout of the locked choices.
Students must have to keep documents like plus-two marksheets, plus-two pass certificate, identity proof, birth certificate, NEET 2020 admit card, NEET 2020 rank card and provisional allotment number.
