NEET UG 2023 result is now becoming the talk of the town with more than 18 lakh students eagerly waiting for its declaration.
It is noted that NEET UG 2023 was conducted on 7 May 2023 from 2 to 5:20 PM and over 20,87,449 students have appeared for the exam that was conducted in 4097 exam centers located across the country.
The exam for undergraduate medical entrance was also held in 14 cities situated outside India. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the exam.
Provisional Answer Keys and scanned images of OMR Answer Sheet were also uploaded and so as to enable the candidates to challenge.
Challenges could be made by paying Rs 200 for every answer from 4 to 6 June 2023. Students could file their challenges till 11:50 PM on 6 June.
The focus is now on the release of NEET UG 2023 result for which students in large numbers are eagerly waiting across the country.
When to expect NEET UG 2023 result?
The date and time to announce NEET UG 2023 result are yet to be known as of now. So all the dates being talked about currently are just guesses.
Usually, the results are declared about a month or two after the exams are conducted. Taking that into account, one can say, NEET UG 2023 was held on 7 May 2023, which means NEET UG 2023 result will be likely announced on the third or fourth week of June 2023.

In case of any delay, the NEET UG 2023 result could be out in the last phase of June or the first week of July 2023. These are, however, guesses, the exact information will likely be available on the official website of the exam hosted by NTA.
One can say, students can start visiting the official website for NEET UG 2023 result from now onwards periodically, as they could be out any time soon.

What after the result?
Students must check NEET UG 2023 result to ensure they have passed the exam with the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next phase of admission.
The process after the exam is counselling which takes place in two phases – national level (All India Quota) and state level (state quota).
Students wishing to study medicine in central government educational institutions can apply for the national level for which counselling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Individuals willing to seek a seat in the state quota can apply for counselling along with their NEET UG scores on the website of the medical admission counselling authorities of their respective states.
Counselling will likely be conducted in more than one round and students who don’t get a seat in the institute of their choice can try in the subsequent rounds.
Those who get a seat can convey their acceptance and pay the fees and join the classes as per the instructions.
There is more to it than meets the eye, students must remember that things do not end with getting admission into medical courses. Candidates have to work hard to sustain the success.
