NEET UG 2023 counselling dates to be announced soon

NEET UG 2023 counselling dates will soon be announced and it is time for students aiming for medical and dental admissions to be prepared.
The exam for undergraduate medical entrance was conducted on 7 May 2023 and over 20 lakh students appeared for the exam.


Results for NEET UG 2023 were announced on 13 June 2023 over 1145976 candidates have qualified for the exam. Students in large numbers were eagerly waiting for them.
While the declaration of results was a very big event in recent times, NEET UG 2023 counselling also grabs the attention of all.
More than 10 lakh students are eagerly waiting for the announcement of NEET UG 2023 counselling dates. The counselling takes place in two categories – central and state.

Central Counselling is also known as All India Quota Counselling which is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) that comes under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India.
The state quota counselling will be conducted by respective authorities concerned with various states in India.

The dates
The schedule for NEET UG 2023 counselling for AIQ would be out on the official website of MCC, while the same for state quota would be out on the official websites of authorities concerned with various states.
The expectation is that dates for NEET UG 2023 counselling will be announced by MCC either by the last phase of June or the first phase of July 2023.
Sources say the documents required for NEET UG 2023 counselling in Gujarat were announced recently by Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate &Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC and ACPPGMEC).
The schedule would be announced soon. Similar announcements are likely to be made and candidates can follow the websites of counselling authorities of their respective states.

NEET UG 2023 counselling phases
NEET UG 2023 counselling will be conducted in more than one phase. The dates for each round will be informed on the websites of the authorities concerned.
Each phase in connection with NEET UG 2023 counselling will have an online filling of basic information, processing fee payment, certificate verification, option exercising after certificate verification, provisional allotment of seats, payment of tuition fees, and reporting at the allotted college.

The process to register for NEET UG 2023 counselling is online and candidates have to visit the official websites.

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download.
2. Once the webpage is ready, candidates can click the button for NEET UG 2023 counselling.
3. This will open the webpage with the URL ‘https://mcc.nic.in/WebinfoUG/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P’
4. After the webpage opens, candidates have to click the link for NEET UG 2023 counselling and take up registration and choice filling and submit them.

Students can make enquiries and find out the websites and register for NEET UG counselling there. The procedure would likely be similar to the one mentioned above.
After counselling registration
Candidates who have completed their choice filling in connection with NEET UG counselling will be allotted seats. Those who get seats can convey their acceptance and then pay the fees and join the course.
