S. Sailesh Krishnamurthy, 12th standard student in the CBSE stream was happy that NEET UG 2021 exam date is known to all now.

The date announcement has now given us clarity, this will help me start my preparation, he says. However, things have not moved as per his expectations.

‘We thought NEET UG will be conducted more than once from this year, just like JEE Mains. But that did not somehow happen.’

Euqally unhappy is M. Sirisha, also a 12th standard student from state board.

‘If I donot get the required score in NEET UG 2021, it means I have to wait till next year to appear in the exam and improve my score.’

‘When JEE Mains 2021 can be conducted four times a year, prospects of conducting NEET UG 2021 can also be explored,’ says K. Muthuraj, biology teacher.

A couple of others have felt the NEET UG 2021 exam date announced is quite long.

It is March now, the test will be conducted after four months, and that is too long a wait time, says S. Subhash Reddy, a NEET aspirant.

Instead, the exam can be conducted in May or June, he says. He too did not stay behind from welcoming the idea of conducting NEET UG more than once.

The possibilities of conducting NEET UG on myriad dates are not non-existent, all it needs is right planning and right implementation.
