Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam for admission to postgraduate programs (M.Tech/M.E./Ph.D.) in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other institutions. GATE scores are also accepted by PSUs like IOCL, NTPC, BHEL, ONGC for recruitment. Valid for 3 years.
