The vacancies are available at Mechanical Workshop/Gorakhpur (411 posts), Signal Workshop/Gorakhpur Cantt: (63 posts), Bridge Workshop/Gorakhpur Cantt (35 posts), Mechanical Workshop/ Izzatnagar (151 posts), Diesel Shed/ Izzatnagar (60 posts), Carriage & Wagon /lzzatnagar (64 posts), Carriage & Wagon /Lucknow Jn (155 posts), Diesel Shed/ Gonda (90 posts) and Carriage & Wagon /Varanasi (75 posts).

The vacancies of apprentices are present in the fitter, welder, electrician, carpenter, painter and machinist trades.

Who can apply?

Educational

The candidate desiring to apply for this NE Railway Recruitment 2023 should have already passed the prescribed qualification of High School(10)th with minimum 50% marks and ITI in notified trade on the date of issue notification.

Age limit

Applicants of this NE Railway Recruitment 2023 must not be less than 15 years of age and not more than 24 years of age on 02.08.2023.

In the case SC/ST candidate’s upper age limit is relaxed by 5 year and in the case of OBC candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years. For Divyang candidate’s maximum 10 years age relaxation is permitted.

Physical standard

Processing fee

The candidates of this NE Railway Recruitment 2023 have to pay Rs.100/- as a processing fee. SC/ST/EWS/Divyang(PwD)/Women candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.

Mode of selection

Selection of the eligible candidates for this NE Railway Recruitment 2023 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

Candidate may opt for more than one unit/place. In case, his/her merit position does not permit to allot first choice, he/she will be allotted subsequent choice.
