Application Process of UPSC NDA & NA (I) 2025

How to Apply

• Candidates must submit their applications online at upsconline.gov.in.
• Application Deadline: December 31, 2024, by 6:00 PM.
• Correction Period: Applicants will have the chance to correct errors in their submitted forms from January 1 to January 7, 2025.

Candidates should ensure their information is accurate and complete, as any discrepancies could lead to rejection.

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹100
• SC/ST and Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs: Exempted
• Payment can be made online or through offline methods as specified in the application portal.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Applicants must have been born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.
• Nationality: Indian citizens, subjects of Nepal, or individuals of Indian origin who meet specific criteria are eligible.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam from an approved board in order to be considered for the Army Wing.
  • Candidates must have completed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12 in order to be considered for the Air Force and Naval Wings. 

Examination Format

The NDA & NA (I) 2025 Exam will consist of the following components:

Written Test:

• Shortlisted candidates will proceed to the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview, which carries 900 marks.

The written test will feature negative marking for incorrect answers.

Vacancies

A total of 406 vacancies have been announced, distributed as follows:

• National Defence Academy (NDA): 370
  • Army Wing: 208 (10 for female candidates)
  • Navy Wing: 42 (06 for female candidates)
  • Air Force Wing:(i) Flying -92 (including 02 for female applicants)
    (ii) Technical Ground Tasks: 18 (including 02 for female applicants)
    (iii) Non-technical Ground Duties: 10 (incorporating 02 for female candidates) 
• Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 36

These numbers are subject to change based on further announcements by UPSC.

Additional Information

• The exam date is set for April 13, 2025, and it will be conducted at designated centers across India.
• Admit cards will be made available approximately seven days prior to the exam date.
• Final selection will depend on a combination of written exam scores, SSB performance, and medical fitness.

Facility choice for NEET PG MCC has opened till December 11 and for score, availability of seats with past year cut-off trend would be considered, and for selection of candidates in round-2 seat allotment 2024 results will be declared in NEET PG. Then the candidates will download an allotment letter from the website of MCC official portal through website mcc.nic.in.

If any candidate received their seats up-graded in round 2 at the topmost preference presented by them then they will get relieved of round 1. Applicants who are unsatisfied with the results in NEET PG round 2 will also be provided for further rounds of counselling. A total number of 4 rounds will be performed through MCC AIQ counselling in 2024 by the counselling committee.

Security deposit submitted by round 2 seat allotted candidates, who do not report or join the respective college or surrender the seat, will be forfeited. “If any candidate does not join round 3 seat, he may exit with forfeiture of security deposit and elimination (cannot participate in further rounds of counselling conducted by MCC, DGHS),” the information bulletin read.

• Click on NEET PG round 2 seat allotment result.
• The NEET PG round 2 allotment link in PDF will appear
• Click on Ctrl+F and insert roll number
• Roll number allotted college category under which admission is allowed will appear.
• Download the seat allotment letter for round 2 NEET PG and save for future use.
