NCHM JEE 2021 is postponed and great last date extended to 31 May
NCHM JEE 2021 applicants can apply till 5 pm of 31 May as the last date for registering for the exam has been extended.
Also the date for conducting NCHM JEE 2021 exam has been postponed.
Applicants for NCHM JEE 2021 can pay the registration fee till 11:50 pm of 31 May.
Candidates can visit the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA) at ‘www.nta.ac.in’ and official website of the exam at ‘https://nchmjee.nta.nic.in’

Students had sent requests seeking extension of last date to submit applications as they were facing difficulties due to COVID-19 situation.

The last date to submit applications for NCHM JEE 2021 was further extended taking into consideration requests received from students.
About the exam
NCHM JEE 2021 is also known as National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination 2021.
Candidates who pass this exam will get admission into BSc (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) course at Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) for the academic year 2021-22.
IHMs offering the course are affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT).
Important dates
The registration for NCHM JEE 2021 exam began on 3 February this year and it is in progress currently.
The actual last date is 10 May this year, and now that has been extended to 31 May.
The date of conducting the exam is 12 June as per the earlier planned schedule. New date will be announced later.
The earlier planned schedule mentioned that the facility to make correction in the applications submitted for NCHM JEE 2021 would be open for corrections from 12 to 16 May.
Now as per the changes made to the schedule, the window to make corrections will be open from 2 to 8 June.
Eligibility
Applicants for NCHM JEE 2021 must have passed plus-two exam from any stream with English as one of the subjects.
Even candidates who are appearing for the plus-two exams can also apply for NCHM JEE 2021.

Soon after the webpage downloads upon clicking the above url, applicants have to scroll down the page and find the button ‘Fill Registration Form NCHM JEE 2021’

Candidates can click the button and commence registration to obtain username and password.
Post obtaining username (application number) and password, applicants can login using them and start applying for NCHM JEE 2021.
Applicants can provide the required information and upload the documents and pay the registration fees and submit the application form.
The registration fee
Applicants of NCHM JEE 2021 from General and OBC (NCL) category are Rs 1000.
Economically Weaker Section applicants of General category can pay Rs 700.
The registration fee for SC/ST and PwD candidates and applicants from Transgender category is Rs 450.

# 10th class mark sheet
# passport size photograph of the candidate
# scanned image of the candidate’s signature
# PwD certificate (for PwD candidates)
Point to remember
The candidate’s photograph must be in Jpeg format and its size must be between 10kb to 200kb and 80 percent of the face should be visible.
The scanned image of the signature of the candidate should be of 4 to 30kb in size.
The PwD certificate must be from 50 kb to 300 kb.
NCHM JEE 2021 will have 30 questions each from Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction and General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
English language section has 60 questions and 50 questions related to Aptitude for Service Sector in the exam.
Each correct answer has four marks and every wrong answer will lead to deducation of one mark.
Point to remember
The questions that appear in the exam are of plus-two level. They are from the lessons taught at that level.
Also, applicants from NCHM JEE 2021 can read books on current affairs, aptitude and reasoning which are meant for plus-two students.
