Swain (IPS), who is set to retire on September 30 of this year after reaching superannuation. After the Union government removed J&K’s special status in August 2019, Mr. Swain was named Additional Director General of Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in 2020 in J&K. Additionally, Mr. Swain served as J&K’s Director General of Police.
