This is about State Eligibility Test being conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).
Individuals aiming for teaching jobs or research scholar positions in colleges across Madhya Pradesh can submit MPPSC SET 2024 application.
The application submission will start on 21 March 2024 and the last date to submit MPPSC SET 2024 application is 20 April 2024.
Link to submit MPPSC SET 2024 application is not active as of now, once it turns functional, individuals can start registering for the exam.

MPPSC SET 2024 Application can be submitted from 21 March to 20 April 2024.
Corrections in the MPPSC SET 2024 Application forms can be taken up from 27 March to 22 April 2024 without payment of late fee.
Those willing to take up corrections in MPPSC SET 2024 Application with late fee I can do them from 21 to 30 April 2024.
Candidates can make corrections in MPPSC SET 2024 application from 1 May onwards to 10 days before the exam on paying a late fee II.
MPPSC SET 2024 Application Fee
MPPSC SET 2024 Application Fee is Rs 500 for applicants of General category. Those from the reserved categories have to pay a fee of Rs 250 while submitting MPPSC SET 2024 Application Fee.
Candidates of all categories have to pay an additional portal fee of Rs 40 along with their registration fee while submitting MPPSC SET 2024 application.
Candidates taking up corrections in the regular duration can pay Rs 50 for each correction.
Late fee I to be paid for making corrections Rs 3000 along with an additional Rs 40 as portal charge and a fee of Rs 50 is to be paid for every correction.
Late fee II to be paid for taking up corrections in MPPSC SET 2024 Application is Rs 25,000 along with Rs 40 as portal charge and Rs 50 for every correction.
About the exam
The full name of the exam is known as Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission State Eligibility Test. It is also known as MPPSC SET or SET.
This test is conducted once a year and is a state-level exam. The test will be conducted in offline mode where answers to questions have to be marked on a separate answer sheet at the test center.

The exam will have questions related to about 20 different subjects from arts, science and commerce stream taught at post graduate level in recognized educational institutions.
The test has two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2 and they have to be answered in a duration of three hours.
Paper 1 has questions related to teaching and research aptitude it is common for all candidates.
Paper 2 will have questions related to subject the candidate has learnt in his or her postgraduation. Paper 1 is for 150 marks and Paper 2 is for 300 marks.

Who can submit MPPSC SET 2024 Application?
Candidates willing to submit application for MPPSC SET 2024 must have passed master’s degree from a recognized educational institution with a pass percentage of 55.
Those from reserved categories have to pass their qualifying degree with a pass percentage of 50.
Candidates who are about to appear for their final exams of their qualifying degree or have appeared and are waiting for the results can also submit MPPSC SET 2024 Application.
However, these people have to pass the exam and produce a proof for that by the time they apply for teaching or research scholar jobs.

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and then submitted to allow it to download.
2. Once the webpage is ready, candidates can scroll down the page and click the button Advertisement for State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 (Advt. No. 01/SET/Exam/2024), Dated 15/03/2024
3. Clicking the above button open another webpage with URL ‘https://mppsc.mp.gov.in/uploads/advertisement/Advt_State_Eligibility_Test_(SET)_2024_Dated_15_03_2024.pdf’
4. Soon after the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can know about the SET exam.
5. After that, they can click the registration button and create the account with a username and password.
6. Applicants can login and start filling MPPSC SET 2024 Application.

After registration
Candidates who have submitted MPPSC SET 2024 Application will alone be able to download the admit card. The dates for downloading it will be informed later.
Hall ticket will be available for download from the official website which is accessible with the URL ‘https://mppsc.mp.gov.in/’
1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and then submitted to allow the website to download.
2. Once the website is ready, candidates can click the link for downloading the hall ticket.
3. Once the link opens, applicants must enter their application number and other required details and submit them to view the admit card.
Admit card can be downloaded and a printout can be taken and preserved for future use.
