The application procedure for MH SET 2023 began on 11 November 2022 and the last date for submitting applications was 30 November 2022. The admit cards were made available for download from 16 March 2023 onwards.

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) conducts the exam and candidates who wish to become Assistant Professors in various subjects in the colleges or universities located across Maharashtra have to appear for this exam.

Who can take up MH SET 2023 registration?

Candidates who have passed post-graduation from a recognized educational institution can take up MH SET registration. It is nothing but applying for the exam.

Subjects in the postgraduation must be relevant to the field where the candidate wishes to apply for the post of assistant professor. Example: candidate willing to become an assistant professor in physics must study physics in postgraduation.

Students who have appeared for the final exams of their qualifying degree and are waiting for the results or are about to appear for final exams can also apply. They have to, however, pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission.
