Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon declare the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate Counselling 2024 schedule; the authorities are not waiting for the next Supreme Court hearing on the matter, the Federation of All India Medical Association president has said recently.
MCC will release the NEET PG 2024 counseling schedule on MCC.nic. The next NEET PG SC hearing date is yet to be announced. According to various media reports, the same is likely to continue on November 19.

NEET PG counseling is conducted for admission into the Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Diplomate of National Board (DNB), and postgraduate diploma programs under the All India Quota (AIQ) seats. It is expected that the counseling of NEET PG 2024 will be carried out in four rounds: round 1, round 2, round 3, and the AIQ stray vacancy round. The Indian Medical Association (IMA), on 8 October 2024, sent a letter to Union Health Minister JP Nadda to conduct NEET PG 2024 counseling without further delay.
MCC NEET PG counseling 2024 registration started on September 20, but dates for choice filling, editing, seat allotment, and reporting are awaited. In fact, the applicants have also been raising objections that the normalizing process has not been transparent regarding this issue, which NBEMS has been asked to clarify.
