The doctors called for an immediate continuance of the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 which has been getting delayed with every passing day. They appealed to the Union Health Minister JP Nadda to take immediate intervention in order to instruct the National Medical Commission and the Medical Counselling Committee to speed up the admission process.

The United Doctors’ Front Association (UDFA), while writing a letter to Nadda, also mentioned that the NEET PG 2024 exam was conducted on August 11 while the results of the NEET PG 2024 were announced on August 23. MCC began the NEET PG 2024 counselling registration process on September 20.

However, nothing has moved ahead in the counselling process without any update on the last date for registration, NEET PG counselling 2024 information brochure, seat matrix, or MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule. The MCC website still sports a message that the counselling schedule will soon be available, which has left aspirants in protracted uncertainty, the doctors’ body said.

“After 45 days of results and 15 days in the registration process, the lack of clarity and action is adding to the mental and financial stress of students and families. The undue delay in initiating counseling is distressing, and it jeopardizes the commencement of classes in time. In such a critical situation, I humbly request urgent intervention from you to accelerate the MCC NEET PG counselling 2024. The aspirants have worked so diligently and deserve a smooth process without further delay,” said UDFA president Lakshya Mittal in the letter.

The medical aspirants’ condition worsened, and the doctors requested that health ministers command the authorities to give instantaneous relief by disseminating the requisite information along with timelines of the admission process.
