MAH MCA CET 2022: CAP registration starts
MAH MCA CET 2022 CAP registration process began on 3 October 2022 and will remain open till 4 pm of 10 October 2022. CAP, also known as Centralized Admission Process is method through which the seats are allotted to candidates who wish to study Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) in colleges located across Maharashtra.
It is to note that MAH MCA CET 2022 which is popularly known as Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test was conducted on 4 and 5 August 2022 by State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra (MAH CETC). The result was declared on September 11 2022.
Students who passed MAH MCA CET 2022 with the required qualifying marks will be able to move to the next stage of admission process which comprises registration for admission.
CAP begins with registration and submission of required documents. Students who have registered will be called for counselling in which they can choose colleges to study the course of their choice.
The official website of MAH CETC is where the registration for CAP has to be done. Candidates can visit the website for the registration.
How to register for MAH MCA CET 2022 CAP?
Process to register and submit the documents is online. Candidates have to visit the official website ‘https://cetcell.mahacet.org/CAP_landing_page_2022/’ Soon after the respective webpage downloads, applicants have to click the link for MCA admissions.
Post clicking the link for MCA, another webpage with url ‘https://mca2022.mahacet.org.in/cet2022/mca22/’ will open up where students can register. The process to register can be started by clicking the link for it which will be highlighted in blue color in the middle of the webpage.

Post registration and creation of account with username and password, applicants can login and start filling the form and submit the documents. Post submission, applicants have to wait for final confirmation of successful submission. Once the confirmation is obtained, candidates have to download it and take a printout of it and preserve it for future use.

Eligibility
Who can register for CAP in connection with MAH MCA CET 2022? Applicant who wishes to take part in CAP in connection with MAH MCA CET 2022 should have passed a bachelors degree from a recognised educational institution.
Bachelors degree must preferably be BCA or BSc (Computer Science) or BSc (IT) or BE (CSE) or BTech (CSE) or BE (IT) or BTech (IT) or equivalent degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State).
Students who have passed any degree can also apply, they should preferably have studied mathematics as one of the subjects at plus-two level or at graduation level and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State).
Registration fee
Students who have registered for MAH MCA CET 2022 need not pay any fee. However other candidates belonging to NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries, Foreign National Candidates are required to pay fees as given below only by Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking or through Online mode. The registration fees to be paid is mentioned in the table below:

What after registration?
Students who have submitted applications for CAP in connection with MAH MCA CET 2022 have to get their documents verified at the authorized center located near them.
Documents can be verified from 3 October to 6 pm of 10 October 2022. NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/FN candidates should send the print of online filled and submitted application form and copy of uploaded documents by
hand/speed post/courier for verification and confirmation to ‘Director, Sydenham Institute of Management Studies & Research & Entrepreneurship Education(SIMSREE), B-Road, Churchgate, Mumbai 400020’
The dates
Provisional merit list of candidates (from Maharashtra/other parts of India) will be displayed on the official website on 12 October 2022. The submission of grievances at the authorised centres can be done from 13 October to 5 pm of 14 October 2022. The display of provisional allotment in connection with CAP Round 1 will be done on 20 October 2022.
