LPU is one of the few universities that host ISC more than once in less than five years. The last time this event(the Indian Science Congress event) was hosted was in 2019.
The Indian Science Congress is one of the most prestigious and earlier scientific gatherings, promoting innovation, and collaboration within the scientific community. The first time this event was held was in 1914. The theme for the upcoming 109th ISCA – is “The Global Perspective on Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future”.
This event will be inaugurated by respected Prime Minister- Narendra Modi.
This prestigious event will bring together renowned Nobel laureates, scientists, researchers, academicians, experts, innovators, and policymakers from around the world to engage in discussions and develop strategies for sustainable growth across various fields.
The congress will host conferences on various topics like children’s science congress, Women’s science congress, Farmer’s science congress, and many more.

The 106th Indian Science Congress (ISCA) was inaugurated by the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Science and Technology Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan. The Children’s Science Congress was inaugurated by F.duncanM.Haldane from USA. The Women’s Science Congress Was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Textiles and Industry Smt. SmritiZubinIraniand.

During this event (106th Indian Science Congress) a solar-powered driverless bus was inaugurated, which was designed and created by the students of Lovely Professional University.
During the 106th Indian Science Congress Event Lovely Professional University commenced with the lightning of ‘VigyanJyot’, which was handed over to General President KS Rangappa.
