2. Physics lecturer results
West Bengal has become the centre of attraction when the results for recruitment of Physics lecturers were released.

Candidates selected will be posted as Physics lecturers in Government Polytechnic institutions in West Bengal.
The results can be viewed at the official website ‘wbpsc.gov.in’

Candidates have to check for errors in the hallticket after it is visible on the screen. If no errors, they can download the admitcard.

4. Bihar Police Driver Constable
Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) of Bihar released the examination date for physical efficiency test in connection with recruitment of constable (Bihar Police Driver).
The physical efficiency test will be conducted on May 7, say sources familiar with latest education news.
The admit card will be made available on April 25. Applicants can download the admitcards on the official website ‘csbc.bih.nic.in’
However, sources keeping track of latest education news say, candidates who passed the written test in connection with constable recruitment will be able to attend the physical efficiency test.
Applicants can visit the official website and click the appropriate link for the download of admitcard and enter the username and password.
Once username and password are entered, they can view the admitcard on another page, once the website is visible, candidates can download it.
5. IAF invites applications
Indian Air Force (IAF) is inviting application for various vacancies of Group C category available with it.
The vacancies are Stenographer, Superintendent, Cook, Housekeeping Staff, MTS, LDC, CS and SMW, Carpenter, Laundryman, Ayah, Hindi Typist and others.

Individuals have to apply for the post on or before May 15.

7. IIM Ahmedabad virtually inaugurates programme

IIM Ahmedabad inaugurated the 16th batch of MBA-PGPX programme virtually. The programme was held virtually owing to COVID-19 situation.

8. Changes in assessment procedure
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is said to working on bringing changes in connection with examination and assessment.

9. Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 admission
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan (KVS) has postponed the release of provisional selection list of candidates for admission into class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country.
The sudden rise in the number of COVID infections has led to the decision of postponement.
The provisional selection and waitlist were to be released on April 23, say sources tracking the latest education news.
The new dates in this regard will be announced soon. It was only recently that the registration for admission into class 1 began.
Admission into class 1 is held online, the same for other classes is conducted offline.
