KIIT Admission 2024: UG, PG, PhD, KITEE, Eligibility and Selection Process

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Course Admissions 2024: The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) application process 2024 is currently ongoing for candidates wishing to take admission to UG and PG programs. KIIT admission 2024 will be based on the performance of candidates in the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE). The KIITEE application process is done online and offline; the last date to apply for the KIITEE (Phase II) is May 10, 2024. 

Applicants are required to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the KIITEE admission 2024. KIIT is accepting applications for admission to its B.Tech programme from those who finished their 10+2 in 2022, 2023, or who will be appearing in 2024. In a similar vein, students must meet the prerequisites of the specific program they want to enrol in. In addition to the B.Tech programme, the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology course admissions provides PG courses including MCA, MBA, and M.Tech, as well as B.Arch, B.Sc. Nursing, BBA, BCA, B.Des, and B.Sc. in Computer Science.

KIIT Admission 2024

KIIT admission 2024 is done based on the KIITEE entrance examination. The application process for the same is ongoing. Interested candidates can check the complete KIITEE 2024 schedule in the table below for the KIIT admission 2024:

The KIITEE registration for Phase II ends on May 10, 2024, marking the deadline for candidates to apply for the exam. The KIITEE exam for Phase II is scheduled to take place from May 22 to May 26, 2024, providing applicants with a window to complete their exams. For Phase III, the registration deadline is June 25, 2024, giving candidates another opportunity to apply for the exam. The KIITEE exam for Phase III will be conducted from July 2 to July 4, 2024. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the respective deadlines to secure their seats for the KIIT admission 2024.

KIIT B.Tech Admission 2024

An undergraduate engineering B.Tech programme is available at KIIT and lasts four years. Furthermore, the institute provides three-year B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and five-year B.Tech + M.Tech programs. KIIT Admission 2024: Undergraduate Courses

KIIT also provides B.Sc. courses in nursing, BBA, BCA, computer science, BA (H) economics, and other undergraduate programs. Based on how well they do on the KIITEE entrance exam, students are admitted. The requirements for qualifying differ for every program, though. B.A LLB/BBA LLB	Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 45% marks
B.Sc LLB	Candidates must have passed 10+2 from the Science stream with 45% marks as an aggregate
BBA	Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and have Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Economics/Statistics as one of the subjects in the 10+2 level.
BCA	Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and have Mathematics as one of the subjects in the 10+2 level.
B.Pharma	Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate
BA (Economics/Psychology/English/Sociology)	Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any stream with at least 50% marks.

KIIT Admission 2024: Postgraduate Courses

The 2-year M.Tech course, MCA, M.Sc. Nursing, M.Pharma, LLM, and other postgraduate programmes are available at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology course admissions. Counselling is conducted after the KIITEE score is used to determine KIIT Admission 2024. Interested students can review the eligibility requirements for each subject in the table below:

M.Sc Nursing	Candidates must have a B.Sc Nursing/Post-basic Nursing with 55% aggregate marks. They must have a minimum of 1 year experience after graduation in the field of Nursing Candidates must be registered Nurses or Registered midwives or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council.
M.Tech	Candidates must have passed B.E/B.Tech in a relevant discipline with a First Class or equivalent CGPA.  Candidates with GATE scores will be given preference. GATE-qualified candidates having a score of 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination.
MCA	Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% marks to be eligible for MCA. However, they must have Mathematics in 10+2 or graduation as one of the subjects.
LLM	Candidates must have passed LLB/BA LLB/BBA LLB/ B.Sc LLB from a recognised university or institute with an aggregate of 55% marks.
MA (Economics/English/Sociology/Psychology)	Candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks as an aggregate.
M.Arch	Candidates must have passed B.Arch with an aggregate of 50% marks

KIIT PhD Course Admission 2024

Candidates for PhD KIIT Admission 2024 at KIIT must have either an M.Sc./MA/M.Com/LLM or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA, or an M.Tech/ME/MCA/MBA or comparable degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent.

The KIITEE score is used for KIIT Admission 2024, and then a personal interview is conducted. Students who have received a valid score on the UGC NET-JRF or the CSER NET-JRF are not required to take the entrance exam and will be contacted straight for the interview phase. Following the PI round, the final merit list is created using the criteria by which the chosen candidates are granted final KIIT Admission 2024.
