KEAM 2023: Great exam to be held on 17 May
KEAM 2023 will be conducted on 17 May 2023. It is for students who are focused on joining engineering, architecture and pharmacy courses in colleges across Kerala. Students keen on joining the graduate courses in the above-mentioned fields can aim for the test.

The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) of Kerala conducts the entrance exam. Individuals have to pass KEAM 2023 with minimum qualifying marks also known as cutoff scores. They are the minimum marks candidates have to score in the exam to be eligible for further process.
Scores of the candidates in KEAM 2023 must be either greater than the cutoff marks or equal to them to be eligible for further process. The further process likely involves counselling and document verification.
KEAM 2023 will have two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Students have to appear for Paper 1 from 10 am to 12:30 pm on 17 May 2023. Timing for Paper 2 is from 2:30 pm to 5 pm on the same day.
What is the KEAM 2023 Exam?
The full name is Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical and is a state-level entrance test that is conducted once every year. KEAM 2023 is meant to be conducted this year (2023).
KEAM 2023 will be conducted offline – as a pen and paper-based test where answers have to be marked on a separate answer sheet. The format of questions is multiple choice, where each question will have more than one option and the right one has to be chosen to get the marks.
There will be two papers in KEAM 2023 – Paper 1 has questions related to Physics and Chemistry, and Paper 2 has questions in mathematics. The questions will be from lessons related to maths, physics and chemistry taught at class 12 in recognized educational institutions located across India.
Students willing to join engineering have to answer both papers, and students opting for the pharmacy course have to appear for Paper 1. Candidates aiming for architecture courses must also pass the NATA exam conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA).
Who can apply for the exam?
The eligibility to apply for NEST 2023 is a pass in class 12 from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India. The subjects in plus two must be from the science stream – maths/biology, physics and chemistry.
Applicants must be a native of Kerala and candidates can provide the required documents to prove their nativity. Individuals who are not from Kerala can also apply, provided, they fulfil the required conditions.

Applicants who appeared or are appearing for the final exams of their qualifying degree examination and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for KEAM 2023. These students have to pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission.
How to apply?
The process to apply for KEAM 2023 is online and candidates have to visit the official website of the
exam hosted by CEE to submit applications. The URL to reach it is ‘https://cee.kerala.gov.in/main.php’
The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser of the computer and the website has to be allowed to download. Once the web page is available in the browser, candidates must click the registration link.
Post clicking the link, candidates can provide details like their name, date of birth, and email id and create an account comprising a username and password. Once the account is ready, candidates can log in and start filling out the application form for KEAM 2023.
The form has to be filled and the registration fee has to be paid and submitted. Post submission, applicants have to wait for the message indicating successful submission, once it is obtained, it can be downloaded and a printout of it has to be taken and preserved for future use.
After application
Students have to appear for KEAM 2023 on 17 May 2023 and pass it with the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next process which involves counselling and document verification.
The scores in the KEAM 2023 have to be mentioned while appearing for the counselling process. Students who get a seat in the course of their choice can pay the fees and join the classes.
