About JETAgriculture2020
JETAgriculture2020 is an exam conducted by Agriculture University in Kota, Rajasthan for offering admission into courses namely BSc Honours in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and BTech in Dairy Technology/Food Technology. The other name for the test is Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test (Rajasthan JET).
Dates of JETAgriculture 2020
Registrations for the exam have been thrown open on 16 March. The last date to fill the application form without late fee is 25 April. Last date to fill the application form with a late fee of Rs 500 is 28 April. And, 30 April will be the last date for application correction.
JETAgriculture2020 eligibility
Candidates willing to apply for the exam must be a pass in 12th standard from Rajasthan, Ajmer or any other equivalent board. The subjects in 12th must be Agriculture, Biology, Physics, Maths and Chemistry.
Applicants must have a 12th pass with minimum percentage of 50.
There is a relaxation of five percent for SC,ST, OBC and SBC category candidates. And, applicants must be a native of Rajasthan. The maximum age limit to apply is 25 years as on 1 January 2020. Applicants who are writing their 12th exams are also eligible to apply.
Applicants wishing to apply for BTech in Dairy Technology, BTech in Food Technology must have Maths, Chemistry and Physics as their subjects in their plus-two.
Candidates aiming for BTech courses in both fields have to attempt Maths, Physics and Chemistry in the JET exam, where as candidates aiming for other courses mentioned earlier can attempt any three of the subjects Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

Application fee for JETAgriculture2020
There is an application fee that candidates have to pay while applying for the exam. The fees is Rs 2800 for candidates of general,OBC,SBC categories. The same for candidates of SC,ST and Physically challenged categories is Rs 1400.
JETAgriculture2020 exam pattern
The duration of the exam is two hours. The question paper will be available in bilingual format. The candidates can ask for question paper in either of the languages, hindi or english as per their convenience.
The format of the question paper is multiple choice questions. Every single question will have four replies and candidates have to chose the right one. Total number of questions will be 200, every right reply will get four marks, wrong answer will get a deduction of one mark. The test will be conducted in offline mode.
Points to remember about JETAgriculture2020
If case of non-availability of candidates from Rajasthan, candidates of other states may be considered for admission based on the number of vacancies at the final round of counselling. The application of the form can be filled only online.
