JEE Main NDA 2020: Minister assures there will be no great problems
JEE Main NDA 2020 are now the hot topics for discussion as the dates for both the exams are said to be falling on the same day.
JEE Main was supposed to be held from 18 to 23 July, but was later postponed to 1 to 6 September. Now UPSC NDA NA (I) and (II) will be jointly conducted on 6 September which happens to be the last day of JEE Main.
If the date of writing JEE Mains falls before 6 September there is no worry. However for those students whose date of JEE Mains exam is on 6 September have to worry.
As NDA NA (I) and (II) will also be conducted on 6 September.
While candidates attending any one of the exam need not worry, but the situation is bit worrisome for candidates who are going to write both JEE Main NDA 2020.

Candidates fear that they will have to quit writing one of the exam as the dates are clashing on 6 September.
However, Union Minister for Human Resources Development has assured the students that the issue has been looked into and there would be no problems.
Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said about JEE Main NDA 2020 schedule on twitter also. ‘I have received representations from many students regarding the clash of dates of #JEEMain with #NDA. The matter has been examined. Students appearing in JEE (Main), who could not update that they are also appearing in the NDA exam scheduled on 6th Sept, should not worry,’ was the message on Twitter.
@DG_NTA will ensure that the dates with regards to JEE Mains NDA 2020 will not clash, said Union Minister. There was a notice also in the recent past with regards to JEE Mains NDA 2020.
The notice brought out by National Testing Agency (NTA) had asked the students to update their application form.
It asked the candidates to tick a column which asked if student was registered even for NDA exam also. If candidates are attending both JEE Mains NDA 2020, then they had to tick yes.
Students in large numbers attempt JEE Main NDA 2020 with a hope that they would be successful in atleast one so as to have a good future.
JEE Mains is for providing an entry into premier institutes (IITs) to study sciences or engineering, National Defence Academy (NDA) is the exam that provides young aspirants to join armed forces and serve the nation.
The boon came inform of NTA giving an option of ticking ‘Yes’ if the candidates were attending JEE Main NDA 2020 while taking up corrections in the application form for JEE Mains April 2020.
While those who responded in time and tookup the correction regarding JEE Main NDA 2020 will not have any problem.
But there are many who did not take advantage of the opportunity and made correction.
Union Minister now has assured that the matter will be looked into and those who did not make the correction with regards to JEE Main NDA 2020 need not worry.
Candidates who want to write NDA to enter in the Indian Army must be a plus-two pass.
Those who wish to make an entry into Navy or Air Force must be a pass in plus-two with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects.
Aspirants of this exam must also be physically and medically fit, as service in armed forces requires the candidates to be physically and medically in good condition. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
