JEE Main application 2020: Great, applying process reopens
JEE Main application process has been reopened and candidates who have not been able to fill up the application process can fill it up now.
Sources say the JEE Main application process has been opened keeping in view those students who could not go ahead with their plans to study abroad.
‘I have advised @DG_NTA to give one more opportunity to students to submit new/complete online application form for JEE 2020. Hurry! Forms available till 24 May.’ The above said was the message.
Now, students who want take up JEE Main application process can logon to official website of ‘jeemain.nta.nic.in’ or ‘nta.ac.in’ Notice released by National Testing Agency (NTA) also mentions this.
Taking into consideration the representation received from various students who actually had plans to go abroad for studies but could not go ahead with their plans, the opportunity for them is given to take up JEE Main application process, says the notification.
Allowing the students to take up JEE Main application process will enable them to continue studies in India in the prestigious institutions like IITs, IISCs.
NTA is now giving them one more (last) opportunity for them to take up JEE Main application process and register themselves for the exam.
NTA notification further says JEE Main application process is available from 19 to 24 May, students can get into the official website of NTA for JEE Main exam ‘jeemain.nta.nic.in’ and apply.
JEE Main application process can be taken up and forms can be submitted till 5 pm of 24 May and JEE Main application fee can be paid till 11:50 pm of 24 May.
The JEE Main application fee is Rs 650 for candidates of general category. The JEE Main application fee is Rs 325 for female candidates, SC, ST, PwD and transgender category candidates.
JEE Main application fee can be paid through online banking, credit card or debit card, UPI and PayTM. To have any clarifications regarding JEE Main process, information brochure can be referred.

After the page with above url downloads, candidates who have already applied i.e. for JEE Mains (January) exam can login with those credentials and begin applying.
As for candidates who are applying for the first time have to register by clicking the link ‘Fresh Registration Only’ and obtain username and password. Using the username and password, candidates can start applying for JEE Mains exam.
Post completion of application process and payment of respective fees, they must take a printout of the final copy and keep it for future use.
Points to remember
Applicants must upload their photos and images of their signature in the right size. Not doing this may result in failure of successful submission of application process.
Candidates must have to keep their original certificates with them while applying for the exam so that they can provide the data required in the application form without any errors.
They must also have to refer their mobile number and email id they provided during form filling to receive the updates in a regular manner.
