JEE Advanced 2024 result is out and 48248 candidates have qualified the exam. Out of the qualified candidates, 7964 are female candidates.

The top ranker is Ved Lahoti of IIT Delhi zone as per JEE Advanced 2024 result that was released with a score of 355 out of 360 marks. There is more to it than meets the eye.

Among the girls, Ms. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of IIT Bombay zone is the top-ranked female candidate with CRL 7. She obtained 332 out of 360 marks.

The total number of candidates to have registered for the exam was 186584 and 180200 have appeared in both the papers.

Over 48248 candidates qualified in the exam as per JEE Advanced 2024 result.

Registration

Application submission for JEE Advanced 2024 started on 27 April 2024 and went on till 7 May 2024. The last date to pay the registration fee was 5 PM on 10 May 2024.

Admit Card was made available for download from 17 to 26 May 2024. The exam was conducted on 26 May 2024, Paper 1 was conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Paper 2 was conducted from 2:30 to 5:30 PM on the same day. Candidates had to answer the questions in each paper in three hours. IIT Madras conducted the exam for 2024.

Who could apply?

Those who have completed their plus two in maths, physics and chemistry as subjects could apply for JEE Mains exam for this year.

Those who have passed JEE Mains 2024 with a rank in top 2.5 lakhs on an all India level can apply for JEE Advanced 2024.

The total number of boys to register for the exam was 143637 and 139180 of them appeared in both the papers. And, 40284 have qualified the exam as per JEE Advanced 2024 result.

Over 42947 girls registered for JEE Advanced 2024 and out of them 41020 appeared in both the papers and 7964 have qualified in the exam.

The number of boys to have qualified in the exam are more than the number of girls who have passed the test. Out of the applicants, most of them were Indian citizens.

About 186067 applicants who have registered were of Indian nationality. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) applications stood at 348, foreign national applicants for JEE Advanced 2024 stood at 169.

Top 10 candidates

IIT Madras zone has four of candidates in the top 10 section as per JEE Advanced 2024 result. The next was IIT Bombay zone which has 3 candidates in top 10 section.

IIT Roorkee zone has one candidate in top 10 section while IIT Delhi zone has two candidates in the top 10 section, as per JEE Advanced 2024 result.

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow it to download.

2. Once the website is ready, candidates can click either one of the buttons Link1, Link2, Link3, Link4, Link5, Link6

Those who have seen JEE Advanced 2024 result and have got the required qualifying marks can take part in the counselling organized by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) to gain admission in IITs.
