JCECE 2021: Tech ed aspirants, get ready for the great exam
JCECE 2021 is the right choice for candidates willing to go for technical education in colleges across Jharkhand.
While this exam will be held next year, candidates who pass plus-two in 2021 and aspire to go for technical education can focus on cracking this exam.
Candidates who pass this exam get an opportunity to study engineering (B.Tech), veterinary sciences (BVSc & A.H.), B.Sc (Agriculture & Forestry) and M.B.B.S in colleges located across Jharkhand.
Application form for JCECE 2021 will be released online on the official website of JCECEB. The website can be accessed at ‘http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/’
Applicants for JCECE 2021 can visit the above mentioned official website to download the application form at the appropriate time.
Sources say the application for JCECE 2021 would be available for download tentatively by second week of April 2021. It will likely be available till first week of May 2021.
Applicants must fill all the details like their name, age, date-of-birth, qualification information and others while filling the form for JCECE 2021.
They must also ensure that details required in the application form for JCECE 2021 must be provided without any errors while filling it.
As far as eligibility for JCECE 2021 is concerned the aspitant must be a permanent/local resident of Jharkhand as per letter no. 5/vivid-9/2001 (domicile) ka. 2691/Ranchi, dated 29.04.2002 of Personnel, Administrative Reforms & Raj Bhasa, Government of Jharkhand and have procured proper Local Residential Certificate issued by proper authority assigned by Government of Jharkhand.
Age limit for applying is different for each course for which admission is offered under JCECE 2021. Candidates applying for B.Tech through JCECE 2021 can be of any age.
As far as aspirants for M.B.B.S course is concerned, applicants must be completing 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission.
And, those aspiring to study Agriculture and Forestry course through JCECE 2021 should be 17 years and maximum 22 years as on 1st july of the examination year.
Age relaxation of three years in maximum age limit for SC/ST candidates. Those desiring to target an entry in Veterinary Sciences should have a minimum age of 17 years as on 31 December of the examination year.
The applicant for JCECE 2021 must have obtained at least 45% pass marks, the same is 40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category in the above subjects taken together.
Candidates who are appearing for I.Sc./10+2 or equivalent examination may also apply, however the applicant must pass the exam and produce the required certificates at the time of counselling.
For MBBS, applicants must be a pass in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English at plus-two level with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination.
The same for candidates of the reserved category is are 40%. Even candidates appearing for their plus-two exams can also apply for MBBS through JCECE 2021.
However they should have passed the exam with required percentage of marks and should be able to produce a proof of that by the time of counselling.
A candidate must have passed I.Sc./10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the Mathematics/Biology to apply for Agriculture and Forestry course through JCECE 2021.
Even candidates appearing for I.Sc./10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but they have to pass before the onset of counselling.
Candidates seeking an entry into BVSc and AH course through JCECE 2021 has to pass I.Sc./10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subject.
While candidates appearing for I.Sc./10+2 or equivalent examination may also apply, they should have passed the same before the date of Counselling.
The application fee for JCECE 2021 can be paid through net banking, credit card and debit card. The fee is Rs 900 for general and BC-I and II category students in the streams of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
The same with regards to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (PCMB) stream is Rs 1000.
The application fee with regards to SC,ST category candidates is Rs 450 for the PCM and PCB streams. The same for the PCMB stream is Rs 500.
The application process for JCECE 2021 will likely begin from second week of April 2021. First week of May 2021 will likely be the last date for application submission.
Admit card for JCECE 2021 will be tentatively released for download in the second week of May 2021. Exam with regards to JCECE 2021 will be conducted tentatively in third week of May 2021.
