J and K Polytechnic 2020: Awesome, Apln date extended
J and K Polytechnic 2020 is the exam for which the last date to submit application form has been extended till 10 May. This has been done keeping in view the hardships being caused by COVID-19 situation. The earlier planned last date to submit applications for J and K Polytechnic 2020 is 20 April which is now changed to 10 May.
About the exam
J and K Polytechnic 2020 exam also known as J and K Polytechnic Entrance Test (PET) is a state level entrance test which is conducted once a year by Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination.
Applicants of J and K Polytechnic 2020 exam will be able to gain admission into three year diploma polytechnic for engineering courses.
The subjects in the 10th standard must be maths, physics and chemistry. The pass percentage must be 40 and the same for reserved category candidates must be 37%.
Important dates
The registration for J and K Polytechnic 2020 began on 23 March and will go on till 10 May. The admit cards for J and K Polytechnic 2020 is expected to be made available for download in June and date of the exam is expected to be also in July.
How to apply
The method to apply for J and K Polytechnic 2020 is online. Applicants must visit the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) at ‘https://jkbopee.gov.in/Pages/Applicant/CAF.aspx?id=1‘ and register themselves.
Soon after the registration candidates can apply for J and K Polytechnic 2020. They have to fill all the required information regarding name, age, qualification, date of birth and others.
Applicants must upload the required documents like the mark sheets of qualifying exam. And, candidates must pay the application fee. After the submission is done, applicants of J and K Polytechnic 2020 must take a print out of the application and keep it for future use.
Application fee
The application fee for J and K Polytechnic 2020 is Rs 500 for all candidates. They can pay the fee through online mode like credit card, debit card and net banking. Candidates must remember that the fee paid will be non-refundable.
Points to remember
Permission of candidates to appear in J and K Polytechnic 2020 shall be provisional on the basis of the entries in the Application Form, subject to their being eligible for admission to the courses applied for with reference to certificate being valid on the date of e-filing of application form.
The answer key will be displayed on the BOPEE’S website in the evening at about 6 PM on the conclusion of the Entrance Test and will remain there for three days and thereafter will be removed.
The candidates who have any complaint against an answer of a question in the Question Paper are free to make written representation with fee of Rs. 1000/- paid at POS Machine (at BOPEE office Srinagar/Jammu) supported by
documentary proof of standard text Books on the prescribed format available on the official website and in the BOPEE office at Srinagar/Jammu which should reach in the office (Srinagar/Jammu) within three working days, after the Key is made available and thereafter no representation will be entertained/accepted.
The Answer Key will be got re-examined by the BOPEE on the basis of the representations so received and the revised key, if any, will be final and no complaint will then be entertained regarding the revised key. The revised Key will be uploaded on the website of the BOPEE.
The revised Answer Key, if any, will be applied to Answer Sheets of all the candidates no matter whether they have made such representations or not.
Re- totalling of marks will be allowed on written request along with Payment Receipt of Rs. 1000 per subject paid at POS Machine in BOPEE Office at Jammu/Srinagar.
