INICET 2023 registration: On till great 25 March 2023
INICET 2023 registration processes for the July session has begun on 7 March 2023 and the last date is 25 March 2023 for submission of applications. It is all about registration for the entrance exam to appear for postgraduate medical courses in institutions of importance.
INICET 2023 will be conducted on 7 May 2023 and the date for downloading the hall ticket is 1 May 2023. It will be available for download from 1 May this year.
This is all about postgraduate courses in the medical field – MD/MS/M.Ch.(6 years)/DM(6 years)/MDS. Students who wish to join these postgraduate courses in institutions of national importance – 15 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum have to appear for INICET.
AIIMS (New Delhi) conducts INICET which is a national-level exam conducted two times a year, in January and July. INICET 2023 registration is about applying for the well-known national-level test.
What is the INICET 2023 exam?
The full name of the exam is Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. It is a national-level exam conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences – New Delhi also known as AIIMS New Delhi.
The exam is conducted in online mode and answers have to be registered on a computer screen at the designated test centre. The questions in INICET 2023 would be related to graduate-level medical lessons taught in recognized institutions located across the country.
Questions will be in a multiple-choice format where each question has more than one reply and the right one among that has to be chosen to get marks.
Who can take up INICET 2023 registration?
Candidates who have passed graduation in medical sciences – MBBS and dental sciences – BDS from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in the country can take up INICET 2023 registration.
Applicants must have also completed the CRI – Compulsory Rotating Internship after completing their regular graduation course. They must provide all the required information while taking up INICET 2023 registration.
Applicants must pass their qualifying exam with 55% pass marks at the minimum. Candidates from SC/ST categories must pass their qualifying exam with 50% pass marks at the minimum.
How to take up INICET 2023 registration?
The process to undertake INICET 2023 registration is online. Candidates have to visit the official website of INICET 2023 at ‘https://mdmsmch.aiimsexams.ac.in/#!’ to submit applications. The URL mentioned earlier has to be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download.
Once the webpage is downloaded, candidates can read the information about the exam and then click the link for INICET 2023 registration and create an account comprising a username and password.
Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill out the application form, pay the registration fees and then submit the application form. The INICET 2023 registration fee is Rs 4000 for General/OBC Candidates/Foreign National/OCI applicants.
Applicants from SC/ST/EWS categories have to pay Rs 3200 during INICET 2023 registration. PwBD category applicants are exempted from paying the registration fee. Every correctly answered question gets 1 mark and every wrongly answered question will lose 1/3rd mark. There will be no mark deduction on questions left unanswered.
INICET 2023 exam canters
The test centers for INICET will be situated across the country, the centers for writing the exam have to be chosen while taking up INICET registration. After INICET 2023 registration
Candidates who have undertaken INICET registration can wait for the appropriate time and download the hall ticket. Admit cards will be available for download from 1 May 2023 onwards.
INICET 2023 will be conducted as a computer based test for a duration of three hours. Students who pass INICET 2023 with the required qualifying marks can apply for counselling where they choose the college and course. Those who get the seat can pay the fees and join the course.
