The event is an initiative of Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Roorkee and will take place from 6 to 10 January next year.

Among those would address the gathering at entrepreneurial fest of IIT Roorkee is Kunal Bahl, co founder and CEO of Snapdeal.

Foreign speakers like sales guru Peter Kazanjy and popular designer Pablo Stanley will be sharing their insights too at the entrepreneurial fest by IIT Roorkee.

Host of competitions will be organised during the fest with a motive to enhance problem-solving skills, case-building skills, technical skills and innovation abilities of students from colleges across India.

Among the contests to be held are Ideastorm – the B-Plan competition, Productathon- a software hackathon, Sale-Able- a sales competition.

Speaking about the summit, IIT Roorkee director Professor Ajit K. Chaturvedi said E-Summit provides a platform for students across India to showcase their entrepreneurial skills.

It is also an excellent opportunity for them to hear and also interact with corporate leaders, he said.

The E-Summit will be held virtually this time keeping in mind the present COVID-19 situation. The event by Entrepreneurship Cell will witness the presence of eminent personalities from the industrial, corporate and entrepreneurial sectors.

It also engages more than 10,000 students, more than 100 startups and more than 20 venture capitalists from across regions in Asia.

The registrations are currently on and those willing to participate can register at ‘https://rzp.io/l/student-pass’ if they are students by paying Rs 199.

Professionals willing to take part in the fest can register at ‘https://rzp.io/l/esummit’ by paying Rs 499.

Participants can click ‘Pay Now’ button to make payment for the registration fee. Post clicking the button, the participants have to make a choice.

Students can enter their name, email, phone number, college name and mention the amount and pay the amount.

Students willing to take part in the E-Summit of Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Roorkee have to pay Rs 199 per participant.

Professionals have to enter their email, whatsapp number and then pay the amount of Rs 499 per participant.

Startup participants have to enter their name, the name of their startup, email, phone number and then pay the amount of Rs 1,999.
