IIT Mandi and AIIMS Bilaspur

IIT Mandi and AIIMS Bilaspur have fostered a collaboration on research and academic activities.
Under this MoU, IIT Mandi and AIIMS Bilaspur plan to work on joint research projects and involve in short-term joint academic programmes in future providing the researchersand students an opportunity to visit and work collaboratively with other institution.

Professor Ajit K. Chaturvedi is the director of IIT Mandi, Dr. Vir Singh Negi is the director of AIIMS Bilaspur and Dr. Venkata Krishnan is the dean (SRIC) at IIT Mandi.

Professor spoke about the collaboration between IIT Mandi and AIIMS Bilaspur. ‘The collaboration between IIT Mandi and AIIMS Bilaspur has been fostered and we are looking forward to jointly work and excel in the field of medical sciences for the betterment of society at large.’

Key points
The main initiatives of the MoU between IIT Mandi and AIIMS Bilaspur are:

● Joint international conference, workshop and seminar of medical and public health

● Exchange of information on teaching and other literature relevant to educational and research programs

● To link both sides of medical industry, device and equipment, based on mutual agreements, and as per existing laws

Discussion
During the MoU signing event at IIT Mandi, IIT Mandi and AIIMS Bilaspur also discussed the future scope of translation of technology in collaboration with industry partners to ensure that the benefits of the research reach the society at large.

The Centers are: Advanced Materials Research Centre (AMRC; set up with an investment of Rs. 60 crores), Centre for Design and Fabrication of Electrical Devices (C4DFED; has Rs. 50 crores worth of fabrication tools), and BioX Centre (has acquired research equipment worth Rs. 15 crores).

The unique, project-oriented B.Tech. curriculum is centred around its 4-year long Design and Innovation stream. From August 2019, IIT Mandi started 3 new and unique B. Tech. programmes in Data Science and Engineering, Engineering Physics, and Dual Degree in Bioengineering.

Since the inception of the Institute, IIT Mandi faculty have been involved in over 275 Research and Development (R&D) projects worth more than Rs. 120 crore.

IIT Mandi set up the IIT Mandi iHub and HCI Foundation (iHub; a section-8 company) on its campus at Kamand with significant funding of INR 110 crores from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

The iHub is planned to fuel research and technology development, skill development, startup and innovation, and collaborations in the HCI and allied AI/ML areas in India.

IIT Mandi is the only second-generation IIT to be featured at rank no. 7 in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements of the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh), an Institute of National Importance was officially approved, under Phase-V of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), by Union Cabinet on December 4, 2019.

It intends to develop patterns of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India.

Dates for commencement of  NEET PG 2025 registration became a subject of discussions in the recent times.

Now the announcement has been made with regards to application schedule of the exam. Exam will be conducted on 15 June 2025 and result will be released by 15 July 2025.

Date of the exam

A circular did rounds recently which said the NEET PG 2025 exam date was changed to 17 August 2025.

It is to note that NBEMS, the authority conducting NEET PG exam in a notification mentioned earlier that NEET PG 2025 will be conducted on 15 June.

It is also to note that no notification regarding change in exam date for NEET PG 2025 has come out from the authorities who conduct the exam.

This only means the exam will likely be conducted on date said earlier (15 June 2025).

NEET PG 2025 Registration Information Bulletin

NEET PG 2025 Registration information bulletin is the document which has all the information regarding the exam and its application process.

Students who wish to study postgraduation in medicine can aim for the NEET PG 2025 registration. They can refer NEET PG 2025 registration information bulletin as to how go about registering for the exam.

Taking that into account, it could mean, the NEET PG 2025 registration will likely be opened in the last phase of March or first, second or third phase of April 2025.

Now NEET PG 2025 registration will commence on 17 April 2025 which is the third part of April month in 2025.

What is NEET PG?

NEET PG is expanded into National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Post Graduate, it is conducted once every year for providing admission into postgraduate medical courses in colleges located across India.

NEET PG 2025 is meant to be held in 2025 and is conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). NEET PG 2025 registration nothing but applying for the exam.

NEET PG 2025 registration eligibility is the criteria the applicants must fulfill to be eligible to apply for the exam. As per NEET PG 2025 registration eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed graduation in medicine from a recognized educational institution anywhere in India can take up NEET PG 2025 registration.

4. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can click the registration link and create an account.

5. After the account is created, candidates can log in and commence NEET PG 2025 registration process, that is filling the application form.

NEET PG 2025 Registration fee

NEET PG 2025 fee is the amount applicants have to pay while applying for the exam. NEET PG 2025 registration fee to pay is Rs 4250 if applicants are from General, OBC and EWS categories. The same for those from SC/ST/PwD categories is Rs 3250.

The amount mentioned above can change due to various reasons, candidates can refer the information brochure on the official website mentioned above at the time of registration for latest information.

The link for it will be activated at the appropriate time on the official website. The link will turn active about 10 or 20 days before the exam day. It can be downloaded as per the instructions below:

1. Type the URL ‘https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=neetpg’ in the browser and submit it for allowing it to download.

2. Once the website is ready, the link for admit card has to be clicked.

3. After clicking the link, candidates have to enter their application number, date of birth and other details and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

Candidates can appear for the exam with their hall tickets. They have to pass the exam with required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next phase of admission which comprises counselling.

Counselling is the process where candidates can choose the course and the college where they desire to study the program of their choice.
