IIT Madras DSA launches great new online course
IIT Madras DSA has started a new course on Business Accounting Process (BAP) which will be available completely online.
The objective behind the course launch by IIT Madras DSA (Digital Skills Academy) is to reskill students and professionals who are aspiring for a career in finance and accounting.

IIT Madras DSA has joined hands with ArthaVidhya to offer this course. ArthaVidhya is an organisation based in Bengaluru which is one of its kind in its area.
This course offered by IIT Madras DSA is completely online, interactive and job oriented.
This has been built with an innovative concept of virtual office, embedded in Artificial Intelligence-based ‘Interactive Learning Management System’ (iLMS).
BAP offered by IIT Madras DSA is a course focusing on the processes related to accounts receivable and accounts payable/recording & reporting of transactions.
This course helps in understanding the documentation and processes involved while performing transactions in finance & accounting.

The course of IIT Madras DSA is for a duration of eight weeks and fee for it is Rs 9558.00 inclusive of tax.
Students who complete this course successfully will get a completion certificate from IIT Madras. The lead faculty for this course is Mr. Ganapathy Nagarajan from ArthaVidhya.

Post download of new page on clicking ‘Enrol’ candidates must provide details like course name, their name, date of birth, communication address and other information and register themselves.
Applicants must also upload their passport size photograph, image of Aadhar card, Pan card and degree certificate while registering for the course.

Professor Mangala further said the Artificial Intelligence platform provides the students with a virtual corporate environment carrying out various financial transactions in real-time.
This helps the students who take up this course offered by IIT Madras DSA to obtain an experiential learning equivalent to about 3 months of actual corporate working experience and makes them job ready, he said.
The course by IIT Madras DSA is designed as per the job roles (Qualification packs) of NASSCOM (IT – ITES Sector Skill Council) and has been certified by them.
In addition, the general features of this course have also been reviewed by Professor M. Thenmozhi, Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, who is also a former Director, National Institute of Securities Markets, which comes under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai.
