Candidates willing to apply can click the official link ‘MBA‘ to know more about the course and also apply for the same. Meanwhile sources from IIT-D say candidates willing to apply must have a degree in any branch of engineering or technology. The application start date is 17 February, last date for application is 17 March.

Candidate with a degree in physics, chemistry and maths and candidates with a degree in statistics, Operation Research, Computer Application, Economics, Commerce and CA/ICWAI can also apply. The applicants must have a 60% marks minimum or CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 in their qualifying degree. The pass percentage is 55% or CGPA score of 5.50 for candidates of SC,ST and Physically challenged categories. The applicants must also have a minimum of two years of post qualifying degree work experience as on 1 August.

MBA

The timings for the course is in evening and classes will take place after 6:15 pm and will be there for a period of four to five days a week. The date for the written test is 5 April and timings on that day for it will be 10 am to 12 pm and test will be a computer based written test.

Candidates who performed well in the written test will be shortlisted and called for an interview. Velsathon is a 24 hour hackathon content being conducted by Vels Innovation Council of Vels Institute of Science, Technology And Advanced Studies (VISTAS).

They can work out the solutions in a most innovative or creative manner and then win prizes. Prizes worth Rs 25000 would be given away to those who prove their mettle in the competition, say sources from Vels Innovation Council.

They can visit the social media accounts on Facebook or Instagram and then scan the QR code present on the image related to Velsathon and that will open a form. The form can be filled and submitted, say sources from Vels Innovation Council.

The website address mentioned above can be typed in the browser and submitted to allow it to download. Once the webpage is ready, candidates can scroll down the webpage to find Velsathon image with the scanner under vistaspallavaram_official menu.

Once the image is found, candidates can scan the QR code there to obtain the form and fill it to take part in the contest.
