STEP 1: Apply for the CAT for PGP admission and the IIM-A official website for other courses admission. Read more about the CAT application procedure. For other courses, go to the official website (https://www.iima.ac.in/) and apply according to the course criteria.
STEP 2: Appear for CAT and or college-level selection rounds.
- Candidates who are chosen for MBA programmes based on their Class 10, Class 12, CAT qualifying, and CAT final cutoffs are invited to additional selection procedures, such as the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. Following the end of the selection rounds, a category-specific merit list is published based on the Final Composite Score.
- Candidates are shortlisted for admission to the other courses based on their GRE/GMAT/IIMA Admission Test scores, among other things, and then for the AWT and PI rounds, respectively.
STEP 3:Once the seats have been allocated, candidates can confirm their admission by paying the entrance fees.

Applicants seeking IIM Ahmedabad course admission 2024 for the two-year PGP at IIM-A must take the Common Admission Test (CAT). CAT 2023 (considered for admission to the 2024-26 batch) will be held in November 2023. Those seeking admission to the 2024-26 batch were allowed to apply online and register at www.iimcat.ac.in once the CAT registration process was available.
